Jyotish is a veritable ocean! Time and again, perhaps due to our 'reductionistic' ways of thinking (all human beings suffer from that, some constantly, others periodically... etc), we all, studying from the same books, listening from the same seniors and teachers have observed this, I hope! We learn all these fundamental hints that scriptures give us (Jyotish scriptures!) about bhavat bhavam, or the concept of dispositors, or padas, karakas and many many myriads more! These are all perhaps essential, but most of us seem to forget those when we are looking at a chart in the field. But there are others who do not! One of the problems evidently is that Jyotish is so full of gems and attractive ones when it comes to plethora of techniques, approaches! Mind boggling for most casual onlookers or those that have been jestingly called, "Weekend warriors!"
Nothing wrong with that, and this must not be taken as offensive, judgmental criticism or even sarcasm etc. We all fall in those 'traps' from time to time and that is okay, because all of us are only human!
I like to bring up these topics, not to educate, because I have never seen myself as a teacher or leader etc. I am simply an observer, if you want to trap me in a label!
But perhaps to someone, somewhere, some of what I post and share may make some sense, may evoke a question, some minor perturbation, a pause! A pause to reflect and that is how we all grow. Even the cell while it is divides, nearly constantly, has I believe four phases in the cyclic event known as cell multiplication. The pause is called, "resting phase". The pause that refreshes...!
Now, as the French say, "Allons-y!"
Let's go...!
Love and Lux,
