Since the heading includes "musings" and "speculations", I am venturing out  .
I would think that moveable signs make people impulsive, fixed signs too hung up on some notions. The dual signs have a possibility to achieve a right mix. Trying to relate it to real life, measure of "success" in life differs in differing time scales. For e.g, if someone wants to learn astrology he/she will have to be prepared to persevere for a long time. In this period the same person may have other options to pursue that would make him/her "successful". I would think moveable sign makes it difficult to set out on such long range objectives. Fixed signs on the other hand may be able to do it but may lack the agility to withdraw, should there be a situation guaranteeing failure. |
