Iam not new to this forum but I was away from the forum since more than a yr due to personal reasons and as I forgot my user ID so I hav again come back with a new user ID.I have recently been going through topics on types of marriages and relationships and Iam a bit confused. In one place I read that if Rahu is in 6th or 12th h from asc.in D1 or D9 chart then a person marries a foreigner but in other place it was written that if rahu is in 7th h in D1 or D9 chart then a person has intercaste marriage, now isn't marrying a foreigner an intercaste marriage? or are these two different. One more thing, astrologers relate intercaste marriage with love marriage but Chandragupta was married to salyukus' daughter, she was a foreigner and it was not a love marriage, so where shuld Chandragupta's rahu be placed, in 7th or in 6th or 12th and wht other combinations he might be having?

Rahu in the 7th. house generally leads to multiple relations at some point in life.

Rahu in the 7th. leads to the inclination of one to break away from his/her tradition in forming relationships.
A conventional marriage never lasts for them

Rahu should be ideally in the 7th. in rasi and bhava chart.

thanks for ur prompt reply but wht about rahu in 12th or 6th house in D1 and D9 charts as 12th indicates foreign lands and 6th house is 12th to 7th, so does such a position of rahu indicate marriage to a foreigner? u have stated that a person having rahu in 7th house has multiple relations thn does it mean extramartial affairs too?

Rahu in the 12th. does not confirm marriage to a foreigner, nor Rahu in the 6th.

I do not where and how you came across it.

But again a chart showing such an event may have Rahu in those houses.
If the mentioned above is in a chart then it is due to some other combination.

Natives with Rahu in the 7th. generally do not have good quality skin, and does not give much time to their own interests and may have conventional attitudes;........... but as age progresses............. they get attracted to relationships, and the outer world, and therefore get attracted to not very usual relationships.

I know abt a young lady with rahu in 7th house, she had many affairs since she was in class xth, many boys were attracted to her n proposed to her and now she is finally settled at the age of 23, as her marriage was inter-cast, there was opposition from the boy's side so they went for arya samaj marriage.Her husband is a decent guy n they r happily married now for 3yrs.
