So in JHora 7.51, if we use Drik Siddantha, what are the best settings as

1. House (now I’m using each rashi is house)
2. Ascendant (or the chosen reference) is the middle of first house or Ascendant (or the chosen reference) is the start of first house?
3. What is the mean of tip of sun in sun rise setting, tip meaning starting point of the sun or ending point?
4. For dasa calculations savanna years or solar years?

(2) Ascendant should be at the middle of a house in General Vedic astrology; But in Krishnamurthy Padhhati system, the ascendant is the begining of the house.

(3)Some take the rising point of Sun as, the time when the Sun's upper tip reaches the horizon (can be seen by the naked eye); similarly during sunset, when the Sun's upper tip disappears to the naked eye from the horizon.

(4) For dasa calculations, these are options.
Some use this and some use that. Mostly Vedic astrologers take the 360 days solar years.
