Rahu and Ketu
Back in the late 1600s, John Locke coined the term Tabula Rasa, which means "blank state". And while I do not necessarily believe completely in Tabula Rasa, there is a point in the existence of an individual where a fixation develops as a response to the stimuli from your genetics to the environment. Most people only think of genetics in terms of the short term, but really the entire evolutionary history of the original single celled organism as shaped every single individual into who they are. The single celled organism evolved, became a multi celled organism. That multi-celled organism evolved again and again and again and eventually down the road we humans were created. The history of our origins in comparison to the moment of origin shapes the dualistic paradox of existence which is represented in the nodes. Did the mind create the world or Did the world create the mind? When these questions are broken down to their root state, they represent the two fundemental rashi's of the zodiac that are the root of the self(Aries) and the other(Libra); Pisces and Virgo.
Pisces represents nothingness; the blank state which anything can arise from into being. Virgo represents form; existence. This is the reason that Ketu is given home in Pisces, and Rahu is given home in Virgo. I'm not sure I completely buy into this as I believe that Rahu isn't completely connected and Ketu isn't completely disconnected as they are both dependent on each other and there is an intense longing internally for Ketu's domain and a longing to release from Rahu's. Contrary to belief, Ketu being in Pisces and Rahu being in Virgo does not mean that a person is destined to reach an enlightened state. It simply means that a person's ego is disconnected from the fluidity of existence/ nothing. Indicates a person that is simply fixated on form. They want to fit into some form of being. They can be somewhat rigid in their beliefs. Ironically because they are fixated in on living with the confines of life, their being has a fluidity to it, as they live in the moment... wandering from moment to moment trying to find a place on the earth that suits their being. Later in life the domain of Rahu starts to give up its grasps and an individual becomes more an more consciously aware of Ketu's domain. This is due to nodal shift, as Rahu's domain as been worn and the person attempts to give form to what was once universalized (Ketu). Contrastly, the opposite situation(which if you believe in reincarnation would occur after after many cycles of trying to find purpose to being) Rahu in Pisces/Ketu in Virgo is where all of the information that was accumulated from the start of the Virgoian cycle becomes universalized as the native begins to realize the frailty of logic and humanity. It's a point of guilt in which the native beings to realizes the rigidity of being and attempts to remove boundaries and become completely unbiased. The person attempts see a greater destiny behind human logic. Realizes that everything is riddled with meaning, all actions begin with preconceived notions. They tend to have a rather cosmic persona always attempting to grasp a deeper meaning into what they are looking at.
The truth is though that neither position is able to attain the balance/the homeostasis that all beings are looking for without understanding an important point. And that point is that, Virgo and Pisces both define each other. If someone pulled out a piece of paper that appeared black and asked scientists to prove it was black, it would be an impossible task. This is because there is no such thing as pure black. There is no pure white. You'd have to have light to be able to constrast with the black. You have to have void spaces to constrast with the white. You can't remove the ego. You can only balance it by realizing that humanity in itself is cosmic. All the things we create, all the philosphies are all pieces of the whole. That time doesn't exist until we give meaning to it and we are just products of the infinity and void contrasting with each other. This requires one to realize that death is a paradox because we as humans are defined by time. How can time stop yet one still have recognition of time?
So often people ask the question... "Why do we exist?" The question that is almost never asked is "Why not?" A balance is attained when one realizes that nothing and the infinite are the same and everything is grey. This requires accepting the ego as a part of existence and realizing that both death and life are created from the same mold. We are relativity in motion. We define the others and the others define us. The dualistic signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces have the best chance of reaching this balance because of the nature of both Mercury and Jupiter. They bleed into each others domains as the way one thinks and the way one believes are always in direct connection with each other as they are the root of all of our actions. The biggest signifier of whether or not one can attain a semblance of balance doesn't lie in the signs that rahu and ketu are placed but the relationship in which the lords of the nodes have with each other.

Ok the point I'm trying to convey is this:
What is definition? How do things come to exist?
Think of a chair. How do you define what a chair is? Is it something you sit in? Does it have cushions and soft, or is it wooden and hard? Is it tall or short? Narrow or wide? Does it have arms? These are all things that we have developed in our conscious awareness to create the perception of a chair. Objects are given definition by the meaning. Underneath all of this, though there is another truth that is lost. All objects contrast with what they aren't, the "Universe".
Rahu and Ketu depict meaning(focus) v.s. dissolution(universality). The thing about the nodes though, is they are imbalanced. This is because focus and dissolution are always dependent on each other. This is because with infinity, all things exist. The pieces all combine to create the whole. Existence always was, and always will be, a slice of an infinite pie. The mind is a focal point. Yet oddly, through this focal point flows the entire prism of the universe because the focal point is itself defined by the universe.
To me this is kind of the goal of Rahu and Ketu, to attain a balance. Where one can see both the forest and the trees. If Rahu(which is what happens with Rahu in Pisces) is too strong, the ego is so strongly attached to something that it can't get out of it's own way. The person is sort of suspended in motion and has a hard time giving into the flow of the universe. Everything is laced with meaning, all thoughts are too big picture almost as if they are searching for a reason to give into the rest of the world. Typically highly intelligent, highly philosophical. If Ketu(which is what happens with Ketu in Pisces) is too strong, the person is a wanderer that is constantly searching for some sort of meaning in which they can give to their existence. They kind of lack a sense of self which they are constantly trying to find.
Balance occurs when you can see both the forest and the trees so to speak and realize they are both apart of the same creation. This is why the lords of the nodes are so important, the lords are where the energies of the nodes sort of flow through. This is why a relationship between the lords sort of is important as when they have a close relationship they overlap over each other, and one may actually have a very balanced viewpoint in which they can get out of their own way and effectively solving their major problems while accepting others as apart of their being.

VERY IMPRESSIVE, dear Hitta!
I am feeling a bit envious, to tell you the truth perhaps for the first time in my life ...! I wish I knew you when and if we were both 24 at the same time (give or take a few years for standard deviation/error's sake!)!
Yours is definitely the most uplifting posting/sharing that I have read in a very long long time!
May MA bless you and give you Energy, Love and Light...!
<Thank you Rishirahul for inviting me back, even if just to read Hitta's posting and sharings!>
Love and Lux,
