Hi,

I have a question pertaining to timing of issues.

I have heard that the VM dasha system isnt the most accurate because of 3 factors.  What adjustments do we have to make to the dasha periods to make predictions accurate to the day or even to the hour ?

Is it even possible to make predictions that precise ?

I know this is a very difficult question and I would appreciate Rishi Rahuls input on this.

thanks,

Daniel

Hi el matador,

Vimshottari is a very accurate dasa system. It can be very accurate.
There are sub, subsub and even deeper levels in it called antardasa, pratyuantardasa, sokshma dasa, prana dasa, deha dasa; but much experience is needed for accuracy.

There are at least 42 other kinds of dasas for general and specific purposes; some of them do not work satisfactorily probably due to lack of knowlegde.

P.S: moving this topic to vedic forum as its as general query

Hi Rishi Rahul,

thanks for your reply.  I wanted to know whether is was possible to make predictions down to the hour.   For example if a person is going to have a car accident are you able to say that mr. chaman lal will have a car accident at 8.30pm. is it possible for the dasha system to be that accurate.

pls Rishi Rahul can you answer one other question.  What is the relationship between the dashas and the gocharas.  Is is that the dasha offers potential and the gocharas (ie the position of the planets at present) provides the definitive.

ie mr. chaman lal is currently under his saturn-mars-venus period and that all three are malefic according to his chart.  So there is the potential for a car accident.  However, when mars transits natal venus would this be the catalyst for the accident.

If so, how are you able to predict which day / hour the accident will take place in.  Is it something to do with the degree placement of the natal venus or the degree placement of the transiting mars ?

this has intrigued me for a long time and I would appreciate you shedding some light on this for me.

many thanks,

daniel

RishiRahul=Predictions down to the hour meet with success sometimes, but not always as much intricate calculations with intuition is needed. This is easier achieved with dasas and transits, rather than only dasas.
But such endeavors do not meet with success mostly.

pls Rishi Rahul can you answer one other question.  What is the relationship between the dashas and the gocharas.  Is is that the dasha offers potential and the gocharas (ie the position of the planets at present) provides the definitive.
RishiRahul=Dasa and transits should be used colectively as 2 persons embraced in a dance.
Some explain that dasas= destiny; gochara= karma.
Whatever it is, the gochara is the relative postion of the planets at the present.

ie mr. chaman lal is currently under his saturn-mars-venus period and that all three are malefic according to his chart.  So there is the potential for a car accident.  However, when mars transits natal venus would this be the catalyst for the accident.
RishiRahul=Yes and no. It is not exactly like this, but it could be.
Accidents generally lead to transits of Mars, Rahu, Ketu, Saturn on planets like the 6/8/12th. lords in general.
Timing is a very difficult subject in astrology.
I take the collective help of Palmistry which makes it easier.

If so, how are you able to predict which day / hour the accident will take place in.  Is it something to do with the degree placement of the natal venus or the degree placement of the transiting mars ?
RishiRahul=Explained above, but hour/day may not be possible depending upon errors of calculating and birthtime errors.

this has intrigued me for a long time and I would appreciate you shedding some light on this for me.

many thanks,

daniel

VM dasha system is accurate, even other dasa systems can be accurate as same as VM dasha system. But some knowledge is hidden in family based astrological sects as secret rules. As my experiences,  only from VM dasha system we can say most accurate predictions about past and future. What you need is check large amount of horoscope for gain experience. Take birth charts of your known ones then do experiments with their main life incident. Then you will catch those secret rules, then you can predict most accurate predictions.
