Today, I found a curious incident in silver price of MCX (Mumbai Commodities Exchange) which I have found earlier in many cases. Many persons ignore such things and therefore derive wrong interpretations out of horoscopes.

In the Merucentric chart for Silver, Saturn was yoga-kaaraka and highly benefic in both D1 and D9, sitting in good houses and lording 9th and 10th. Rahu was sitting in 8th house owned by Jupiter which sat in 12th. Normal expectation should be that silver price should rise due to Saturn and should fall due to Rahu when their times come. But the opposite happened. The lowest point in silver price was achieved at the time of Saturn, and a great rise occurred when Rahu's time came.

The reason is simple : Saturn was undern bhaavesh-drishti (lord's aspect) control of Mercury which sat in 12th and was therefore malefic. Mercury's control was not total, because its aspect was only 26' out of a full 60'. But four more planets were conjuncts of Mercury in 12th house and they aspected Saturn. Mercury had 26' enmical aspect, Mars had -20' enmical aspect, Sun had bitter enmical 10' aspect, Jupiter had enmical 29 aspect and Venus had neutral 27 aspect on Saturn. Even neutral aspect of Venus was harmful because Venus was malefic in 12th. Enmical aspects were worse for Saturn. Sum total of these evil aspects was equivalent to 108.5 enmical aspect of lord and its relatives (for summing up, bitter enmical aspect should be doubled and neutral aspect should be halved if malefic). 60' full enmical aspect of a malefic lord is enough for destroying goodness of a planet, 108.5 enmical aspect is worse than that. Hence, in spite of being highly benefic, Saturn proved to be the WORST planet today a d brought silver to its lowest point (below Rs 50000 per Kg) for over a month.

Rahu did the opposite. It was in 8th, but its lord Jupiter sitting in 12th had -57' (95%) enmical bhaavesha-drishti on Rahu, and conjunct relatives of Jupiter in 12th (mentioned above) had only bad aspects on Rahu : 42 bitter enmical aspect by Sun, 33 bitter enmical aspect by Mars, 33 enmical aspect by Mercury and 30 neutral aspect by Venus, all totalling up to about 255 enmical aspect which is too much. Such a high enmical aspect by malefic planets on a benefic like Saturn made Saturn a malefic, but a similar enmical aspect on a malefic Rahu in 8th inverted the charater of Rahu and made it a benefic of very high order : Raghu caused a rise of 5.4% in silver prices from the nadir brought by Saturn within a short span of 118 minutes (16:48 ISt to 18:46 IST). A 5.4% rise is regarded to be too much even for a whole day.

These rules should be observed in natal astrology as well. The overall performance of a planet is profoundly influenced by friendships/enmities of its relatives having house-exchange, conjunctions and mutual aspects (Rahu also had similar enmical aspects on afore-mentioned planets). Often, a benefic becomes a malefic and vice versa.

I have screenshots of May 9. 10 and 11 saved, but I could not save May 12 which I described above because the exchange closed before I could save. Same mistake happened today. The exchange closes at 11:30 pm IST, and  one must save the scfreenshot of whole day just then, before the exchange closes.

But I think some website should give past indices. I know such sites for gold, but I have no knowledge of any site giving past waveforms of silver prices.

Silver price was slightly over Rs 49800 per Kg at its nadir due to Saturn. It rose by 5.4% due to Rahu 118 minutes later.  My software predicted 16:04 for Saturn and 18:44 for Rahu's mean times, but worst and best levels are attained not due to a single planet but due to interactions. This subject is very difficult and not researched well.

I think u r correct Vinayji, even B.V.Raman has stated in his book on 300 yogas that to measure the strength of any yoga one has to see the placement of planets forming the yoga, aspects on those planets and their relationship with the planets conjuncting with them even though the planet conjuncting is not participating in the yoga, mutual relationship of the planets forming the yogas and lastly wether the planet is lord of malefic houses or benefic houses and of course we have to consider kendradhipati dosha etc.
