When looking at a chart, how can you tell between the different types of karma which are currently causing the seeker difficulties.

There's little point in recommending remedies if the type of karma / punishment is permanent and will not be reduced with any known remedy.

Is there a way to tell which karma can be remedied and which definitely cant ?

Before answering this Question i would like to know that wat you know about the different types of karmas.
This understanding is very deep and would obviously require some basic understanding from your end.

As a human wat we understand is about the results and effects ..
Understanding karmas is like covering and understanding this life enough deeply.. Which i doubt many would have even tried to understand.

thanks for your reply.  My understanding of the law of karma is very limited and confined to what i have read in the Bhagvad Gita or other scriptures and as the Lord himself said that the laws governing karma are quite complex.

I have understood that everything we do creates karma whether good or bad and the only way to avoid creating karma is when we work in 'perfect knowledge' of Lord Krishna and we do all our daily duties for him.  If we serve him eternally without expectation of results we are unbound from the bondage created by our actions.

From reading other sciptures its clear that there are 3 types of karma -  all that karma which we have accumulated from our past lives, that which is ready to be apportioned to this life and the final type is that which we are creating in our current lives.

However, my understanding is that from the karma which is to be apportioned in this life there are also 3 types, one which is immovable and only by the grace of god can this be changed / altered, the second which can be changed through lots of effort (ie yagna, austerity, sacrifice) and the final type which can be changed without too much effort ie small lal kitab remedies, gem therapy, mantra-tantra-yantra therapy.

My original question was when trying to help someone experiencing trouble through one of the graha, is it possible to determine whether that karma that the person is suffering for now can be altered easily, with some difficulty or cannot be altered.

Afterall, all astrologers have a duty to help people better their lives and there's no point in recommending remedies costly or free for suffering that simply wont work because that karma simply cannot be altered by other than divine grace.
