Hi,

i have been following this forum for a while but just registered today.  I have read with vigour some of the posts from esteemed posters such as RishiRahul and have been very impressed with the help and advice on offer to seekers.

However, I have a question of my own.  If an astrologer helps another person negate the negative effects of wicked planets especially Rahu and Shani (as per their chart), does the astrologer then have to take on that persons bad karma.

I have been studying astrology for only a very short period of time, but whenever I have offered any person some advice (however basic) i feel the subtle consequences of that advice.  The effect is immediate and lasts for various lengths of time.  The effects are noticeable for both Rahu Dev and Shani Dev.

Is there some truth to this or are there absolutely no consequences whatsoever.

Many thanks in advance,

daniel

Hi,

Guidance given by astrologers should not lead to bad karma, if done with proper knowledge, with the strength of astrological technicals.

The person receiving should benefit, provided the advice is carried out with knowledge and experience.

In the above case I do not think it would lead to bad karma.
What I mean is the person advising should accept responsibility of the advice given.

thanks for your post from which i gather that the astrologer is under a moral responsibility to get it right and we would all like to think that astrologers would always advise for the benefit of any seeker.

however, in helping reduce someone elses bad karma we dont take it on ourselves as on several occasions particularly when advising for either shani dev or rahu dev i have noticed or felt uncomfortable afterwards. not for long maybe a day or so at the most but i just wanted to confirm that it isnt like a guru - disciple relationship whereby the guru will actively look to take bad karma away from his disciple unto him/herself by showing that person the correct path in life. could it be that brahmins are allowed to use vedic astrology as a means of earning a living and therefore immune to any consequences, whereas a kshatriya like myself would not be protected by the lord and thus would feel any consequences of reducing a seekers bad karma.

once again rishirahul i appreciate your feedback.

Welcome to the Vedic Astrology Reading Forum.

Post your date of birth details here for a FREE birth chart analysis.

Please follow the forum rules listed below for a quicker and faster reading.

1. You can have a reading if this is your first visit to Mystic Board, however some of our readers will not give readings to those who have not participated at all. We are here to help people who need help. But we would request you to follow forum guidelines so that you can get a good reading. You can post your request in the particular reading room and wait. Do not pester the readers through PMs or other means.

2. By posting a request here, you agree to give feedback to the reader. Feedback is very important in helping the reader to grow and learn. Also remember to leave a thank you note for receiving a reading. This boosts the morale of the readers.

3. Don't ask for multiple readings simultaneously in the same forum.  The readings won't really change if you keep putting up different requests.

4. There is no time frame between requests for readings on this forum. But do not bump up your posts. Readings will be done only at the reader’s discretion.

5. Please accept suggestions opinions with an open mind. Being of a negative disposition will hinder rather than help your reading.

6. By placing your details here on the Internet, you acknowledge that you are placing it in the public domain.

7. Please do not ask for third party readings.  Mystic Board has a strict policy on not reading for people without their permission.

8. All readings are done for FREE on the public forum; please do not request readings in Private Message (PM). Private readings are against Mystic Board’s ethos along with charging for readings. We DO NOT encourage people from asking for readings in PM. This may also result in having your PM Account closed in case of a complaint. If you are approached to give a private reading, please contact the moderator or admin.

9. This is a completely FREE forum. Our readers do it of their own free will and do not charge money. You can show your appreciation by posting in different forums and taking part in interesting conversations. You can also opt to make donations to help the board grow. If you are asked for a charge for a reading, please contact the moderator or admin.

10. Please post your request in the right reading forum else your request will end up in the "Thread Jail".

Fortunately the moderator is in your  favour and was quick enough to reply to your post within one minute, ignoring the forum rules

RishiRahul=The astrologer may not get the answer right in regard to events happening in a time frame as this is a developing science.
What is more inportant is that the astrologer should be armed with knowledge, and yes, should advise for the benefit of the seeker.

however, in helping reduce someone elses bad karma we dont take it on ourselves as on several occasions particularly when advising for either shani dev or rahu dev i have noticed or felt uncomfortable afterwards. not for long maybe a day or so at the most but i just wanted to confirm that it isnt like a guru - disciple relationship whereby the guru will actively look to take bad karma away from his disciple unto him/herself by showing that person the correct path in life. could it be that brahmins are allowed to use vedic astrology as a means of earning a living and therefore immune to any consequences, whereas a kshatriya like myself would not be protected by the lord and thus would feel any consequences of reducing a seekers bad karma.
RishiRahul= When we trample an ant without intending to do so.. we attract bad karma, as per Hindu sayings, but doing it unknowingly is a negligible bad karma, I think.
Helping someone, so that the person being helped is benefitted/guided better is good, and should not go towards bad karma.
Everyone has a destined karma, Guru or disciple or anyone.
A Guru, by trying to help/guide a person with knowledge/experience can try to reduce his own bad karma somewhat, I feel.
This applies vice versa too.
The caste differences were made with a view in mind. Brahmins were supposed to be the type of people with Brahmin type of mentality; Vishyas had the businness acumen/brains.
But down the ages there has been marriages between brahmins and other castes, so the ORIGINAL concept has got diluted. Also in Kaliyuga, one is easily swayed by power so there is corruption occuring.

Very good questions! The others may participate for discussion.

once again rishirahul i appreciate your feedback.
