Dear Swetha,

Thanks for participating first in this topic. I do have this book, Men are from Mars Women are from Venus. It is one of my favorite books and I too loved to read it . But I felt after reading 40 pages , the Au thor only repeated his views over man and woman fully and I stopped reading it with the 50th page. It is best seller we all know. I do agree U are rite about the book and the Author's view. I admit , same is the opinion me of that book as urs. I too felt like U . I needed to know the practical views of all our forum members here about this. . So I posted it here. I wish more number of participation in this thread. Let us wait and see how many are going to respond. Thanks to Rishi ji here for his participation.

Describes how a man and woman perceive the same situation in different ways which may lead to misunderstandings. A lot of it is true... but I guess only personal experience will prepare you to face the situation ultimately. no matter what you read. Women need to understand that a man's thought process is different from a woman's and vice-versa.

So you mean to say a man's attention needs to be "focused" on something or the other?

Yes, the book Men from Mars and women from Venus is very informative and a fascinating book.

I remember buying this book.. read a bit.. then it was misplaced....due to some woman, I'm sure!! Hey they must be craazy

Yes, males are more polygamous by nature egenerally, due to lack of emotional focus as compared to women... is my belief.
