ok i m confused 4th house is mothe'rs family so 7th lord in 4th house would be mother's side not fathers right

Namaskar,

You are right in your understanding. If 7th lord is in 4th house, its from mother's side. But just this one condition can't give a marriage to some relative from mother's side. Rahu is the biggest enemy to Jupiter. Jupiter is our society and its rules. So in case, unless and until Jupiter is not weak and this 7th lord is not associated with Rahu, one will not break the social norms and go to marry his/her maternal relative.

Dear Rajat ji,

I dont agree with u in this post. We south Indians first give priorities in marriage with maternal side as well paternal side relationship .( not like Muslim's marriages) It is in Telugu called Manerikam .In Tamil , Morai Maman , Morai ponnu we call . Now a days due to the advancement in Medical science we see doctors saying marrying blood relation is not advisable for getting healthy children. . Only after 1980 I see many Mari ages in our society getting outside the family marriages. So according to south Indians U cant call this type of marriages among maternal relationship is breaking social norms . SO IT WONT FALL UNDER THE CATEGORY OF UNCONVENTIONAL MARRIAGE. Please read the previous page, post of Govardhan ji where B.V Raman had given certain dictum's .regarding marriage among cousins.

Hi Rajat ji,
Well said by you that rahu z affliction is bit important when we are considering unconventional marriages.
I am also of the same belief but i wont say that every affliction wud lead to unconventional marriage

as i dnt like gneralizing things...

Logic behind prasanna ji's statement of 7th lord in 6th house leading to marriage to mother's younger brother is that
6th house is 3rd(house of brother especially younger) from 4th house (house of mother) and 7th house is
obviously a house of marriage for the native.

Though this logic is not always the determining factor but yes can be one of the addon points.
