hello all,

just wanted to share an interesting finding about rahu.

i have been seeing some horoscopes now and have found 3-4 natives who have rahu in the 9th house and are outside India.

does it imply that this particular placement has a definite relation to foreign travel?

i also have learned that we check the foreign travel aspects by 12th house.

please pour in with your experiences.

My bad, i did not interpret it right, missed the part of uninfluenced rahu. Well then no such case arises in my chart  as Rahu is under direct aspect of 6 planets.  

Also my apologies , as I did not intend to question you nor astrology. My poor composing skills lead to that blunder.  

For my learning, like u said that moon too will play role, can the gochar planets too infuence ?

You are right but it is general rule.

But as the thread is going on rahu as karaka for dreams we should limit our discussion

Remember every planet is karaka for many things For eg. Ketu it is karaka for Mathametics , Computers also a thought that it also represents Heavy Motors (Can you think why).

Just a thought came in my mind with reference to to visti ji article about bhaav from karaka where it shows our experience related to placement of karaka from bhaav then if we say that rahu karaka for dreams in 5th happens to be 6th from 12th sure bad dreams or lack of sleep

Then govardhan jis experience beautifully fits and kudos to him

Also as per my thinking argala too would be helpful other than rashi and graha drishti irrespective of this if we just go with the karaka of rahu its rahi placement too should be checked i think as nodes are said to follow the bhaava lord it is placed
