Hello everybody,

If a planet is strong in Rasi, but is debilitated in Navamsa, it is said to be weak.

But if the same planet is further strengthened in further of the Divisional Charts(like D-60), will it be deemed as strong ?

In other words, I wish to know till what depth(in terms of Divisional Charts) should a planet be analysed for a true measure of its strength ?

Let us take my example

D.O.B : - 3rd May, 1987 (Male)
Time of Birth : - 7:19 AM (Morning) Birth Time Accurate
Daylight saving not applicable
Place of Birth :- Mumbai (Bombay), Maharashtra, India

I have Jupiter in own house in Rasi chart, but is debilitated in Navamsa(It is in Capricorn) Can we safely conclude that Jupiter is weak and will not give good results ? Or if we need to look further ?

Also I have Saturn in own sign in Navamsa, but if I am not mistaken it is debilitated in D-60 ? So will Saturn be considered as debilitated and weak and will not give positive results ? Or is it still strong ?

How does this concept work exactly ?

Also how does this work for Alertness,Mood, Activity of a planet ?

Like an infant(bal=25 % results) Saturn is in Sushupta(Asleep) in rasi but Jaagrita(Awake) in Navamsa ?

Sushupta = No results but Awake = 100% results. So where does Saturn stand ?

Also, i read somewhere some planets like Saturn give 100% results irrespective of their Avastha(State) ? How far is it true ? So will Saturn as Yogakaraka for me give 100% results ?

Please if the learned Gurus could shed some light on this also....

Best Regards,

mm82100

Hi mm82100,

this are the steps to check overall strength of a planet.

1. Check the Positional strength of a planet
2. Check the Directional strength of a planet
3. Check the Strength of planet due to time
4. Check relative speed of the planet
5. Natural strength of the planet
6. Strength due to positive aspects

Are the following two indicators included in the above: the strength of the dispositor; and, friendship with the owner of the house in which the planet is placed

Also, which takes priority over what....so if a planet is badhaka but also vargottam and placed in its own house (the very badhaksthan), what will be the result?

or

If a planet is combust but highly digbali and placed in its own house, even creating mahapurush yoga...what will be the result?

I hope I am not confusing the topic...but the above has surely kept me very confused...how to prioritize??

Hi Tulanandi ji,
Actually you are going beyond the strength of the planets..
You are going into predictive mode instead of technical details..
What will happen in below mentioned line depends upon many things..and not just mentioned conditions..

If a planet is combust but highly digbali and placed in its own house, even creating mahapurush yoga...what will be the result?

What if i tell you it wud perform all the tasks simultaneously.. without leaving any.
Combustness will add a biterness in the situation, high digball will give native more direction.
Placed in own house will surly give some good result, rather structured/more obvious results....
And Mahapurush will obviously materialize in its own manner .. the way we judge other yogas we will judge this yoga also.

Now Dnt get into one personal chart and judge the situation..
