Certain people send me a Private message seeking reading of their relatives and close friends. Certain others seek such reading of other friends or relatives. In my view answering such question about others to third party , eventhough being a close relative or friends is not legally correct. A person who give the prediction on such cases may be sued in the court of law

I would like to know how protected are those people who give reading in the open forum.

Can the moderator throw some light on the legal issue that are required to be followed by those who give prediction in this forum

We have had an discussion about the same thing in Tarot...

Our Policy is....We are a Public Forum where all request and all responses shall happen in public.

This is done because it is a FREE site, and the main goal is to help many people, either with a Reading or a advice, or by reading the Reading or advice given to others and then put it to their life.

We don't allow PM' readings, In fact I close down any Reader I see, or hear, do such thing.

I am well aware of the problem you as Readers have, and my best advice is..IGNORE ANY REQUEST DONE BY PM.....this will help you as well as other readers....if one respond to such request, this will be told to family and friends, and the request for PM reading will just escalate.

If the Reader need any "sensitive" information....then it is the READER that shall ask for it through PM to the Member..

And we state again that we don't promote paid services, this said more to Members, then for those who help here today, and since it is free ...YOU MUST ALLOW  Readers to pick voluntary...If you Request a specific Reader, then it is no longer a FREE Request, but more a task given the Reader you approach, and he/she might ask you to go to his/her paid services, whiteout you claiming that this is a free site....just because you "pick" your Reader!

This post is more pointed to Members, then to our "regular Readers!"

As for protection for our Readers.
Everything here on the site is given as Entertainment.
This is due to legal rules, that else might have made both site, and Reader responsible for those Predictions/analyzes done, there is enough of solicitors that would take such a case on 50 50 basic

Prediction outside the Public view, are not protected in the same way, and the Reader must therefore take those steps they find necessarily.

In the same breath can you please let me know the Jurisdiction of the court, where it lies.

Is it the Place where the reader is situated or that of the owner of the site or is it the place of the person where the query is made

I am asking this as an information to have the knowledge of the same . This would be  much helpful for future readings, and posting the same within the legal frame work

As said, MB have taken the step to proclaim that all readings, and advices is given on Entertainment Basic, and by that we can't see any legal issue arise.

PM = Personally Message system.

When you use this system...then you talk Personally between 2 peoples.
The site can not have a say in what you two are discussing, and the services is only given on trust that you follow our rules.

Since the site has no say in this system, the user itself need to take those step they find necessarily.
If no steps are taken, and a dispute arise, then I assume it is the court on the claimers place that shall be used....so if one are afraid of any dispute...then one need to announce that any legal dispute shall happen on "your court of law" when one give a reading....or as announcement on ones own site where the reading are asked.(if one don't use the Entertainment rule)

I  do appreciate our Govardhan ji for bringing  in  this educative topic .  It is very much needed now, as we,  all  the readers are getting such private requests very often.  Thanks to Rhuto ji for your clear answers.
