Hi Everyone,
I would like to know what are the different types of dasa systems  or different variants of dasa systems members of MB are using....

Generaly, people use only VImshottari Dasa only...So it would be nice to know how much we know about other dasa systems also..

Would like to hear from all the members.

Hey Raman, I am working on MB backlogs today! All messages with zero responses that I find interesting are getting a response!  
I have tried many dasas, but settled upon Vimshottari, Ashtottari, Chara, Yogini for much of my recent work. Though not all at the same time (I am scared of shot-guns and shot-gun approaches in jyotish and other fields that use such approaches!)

is it charakaraka dasa u have been using RR ji.

So can i ask u few things.. I have tried using Charakaraka dasa a while ago but not with much of result.

Can i ask u how many charakarakas u have used(7 or 8) and which system of charakaraka dasa u have used(there are quite a few in Jhora).
and yess surly with WHICH ayanamasa

I know u dnt like answering or spoon feeding but yet
i would love to get reply from you it would be nice to get watever  i can collect from your reply .

Nice to see you back and that you are able to find some time for astrology

I am a simple man and hence do not get entangled into too many variations etc (Munday munday mati bhinna). I had never tried JHORA so cannot comment on what is in it. I did download JH 7.5 as I promised Vinay Jha to give his SSS method a try. However, right then Narasimha posted his public announcement that though he was very enthusiastic about SSS at first, overall, he was dissatisfied. So, I decided to hold back on further explorations of SSS for the time being. Testing takes a lot of time, and unfortunately, I cannot invest any quality time into that at present. So, for now a backburner project and so too JHORA.

I use what is stated in BPHS and use 8 karakas. Ayanamsha is between Lahiri and Raman, about 1/3rd away from Raman towards Lahiri.

Since you did not find Chara useful, I suggest that you do not spend more time in it and move to techniques etc that work well in your hands. Jyotish is full of techniques. Something or the other will click for sure!

Yep you gave alllll wat i was looking for

I was always with astrology, just that was Off the board coz of
multiple issues including health issue but best part was i was
able to predict my health trouble before it occurred  in last month

True i have tried  CK dasa a while ago
but leme try it again for a small duration bcoz
with the time a maturity or  unconscious change
in approach might have occurred in my mind
So will try again.
