Hello,
I have heard from some people that it isn't good to keep photos of dead family in your house? Why is it said so? Is there any truth in it?

Nope ...it is not...and if anyone say otherwise it must be taken as superstition

If such a thing should have any impact, and it was proved, then I think any photograph would be prohibited, because it would be a source to hurt other peoples.

Earlier Native, that never had seen a camera, could many times believed that you stole the soul to the one you put on a photo.....but I think the belief made greater damage then the photo itself

In the past 2-3 months, I have heard people tell me, that keeping photos of dead grandparents etc and taking their blessings which is usually done most Indian houses, binds their souls and doesnt let them go. We should keep them in our memories and mind all the time. Else we wil have the bear the effect of their misdoings....
That's the reason I am asking this question here....
