What is the significance of having all benefics placed in kendras and all malefics in upachaya houses (3, 6, 11)? (leaving out rahu and ketu)

Planets stamp their natural significations and their natural tendencies on the houses where they are posted.

Benefics in quadrants should be considered very positive - 1, 4, 7, 10 - These are the quadrant houses.
Benefics would signify good positive qualities, virtuous nature in the native. Good education, upbringing
and above all a good heart. Beneficial relationships, outlook and interactions with people is also good and productive.
Even in work - good benefic qualities like honesty, sincerity and commitment are represented.

Malefics in the upachayas will give convey the malefic influences to these houses.
Upachayas are 3, 6, 10, 11 ( 10th is also a upachaya) - These are houses of growth and expansion.
3rd indicates courage, bravery, initiative, drive. 6th indicates your attitude towards your enemies - how you deal with your enemies.
10th is how to perform your work, 11th is your attitude towards gain.
Upachayas are primarily important in materialistic aspects of the native.

Malefics bringing in qualities of Anger, Aggression, Motivation fire, Dynamism, Cold blooded nature, Ruthlessness, Fighting abilities
is quite welcome here - again reiterating for material gains - can be considered bad for spiritual pursuits.

No - you misread my response.

Benefics in kendras should be considered good and auspicious.
Malefic in Upachayas are also good - they are strong in providing material benefits and gains - but the same malefics in upachayas will
impact spiritual growth.

I agree on that. My query was actually the general results of the combination in a horoscope where all benefics are in kendras and all malefics in upachayas. Or combination all benefics in trikonas and malefics in upachayas. Like that.
