One more chart that i have already posted before.

DOB: 2nd March, 1980
Time: 10:10AM
Longitude: 70:49East
Latitude: 22:17 North

the chart having following exchange.

Atmakaraka: Mercury
the chart having parivartana yoga between Mercury and Saturn.

I think in such condition the parivartana will be positive. that is from tamasik to rajsik. as the mercury is with Sun, which is nakshatra sublord of lagna. and that may be due to life partner. as the saturn is kalatrakaraka.

Regards,

Manali

Hi Manali ji,
Lets talk more in practical sense .. rather than theoretical manner about rajasik and tamasik behaviour.
What you think shud have mattered in the life of native coz of the exchange of the chara karakas..

My dear Raman,

Very nice thread! Jo1951 can learn a lot from you if *he* opens his eyes and heart...!

However (here it comes...!   )

As soon as we say: "...What [do] you think shud have mattered in the life of native coz of the exchange of the chara karakas..."

we have already embraced theorizing and conjecture! The dreaded 'what-if scenarios!'

Perhaps a 'reboot' would involve a re-look at your original axiom that "atmakaraka indicates the state of the soul in this lifetime!" <paraphrased!>

Soul or Self? What exactly does the ATMKARAK imply or represent...?

Thanks.
