I have my lagna chart. I know my Nakshatra and my rashi.

How do i identify the nakshatra in each house? Or all the nakshatras in the chart? I hope this question is right.

It talks about finding the nakshatras in the chart to identify the aim of the person's life....whether it is artha, dharma, kama and moksha.

Thanks for the response Raman. You are right i am learning vedic astro. I bought the book called "Light on Life" but its a bit tough to understand it right away. I have gathered a lot of basics and assorted info from various articles on the internet and some from this forum too.

I went to http://www.mysticboard.com/learn_vedic_astrology/37891-lesson_8--the_nakshatras.html but it did not have the info i was looking for.

The article (http://www.scribd.com/doc/519152/Nakshatra-and-Aim) i mentioned in my post along with the info in the book i am reading now titled "27 celestial portals"-by Prash Trivedi ...seems to indicate that we also need to analyze the effect of other nakshatras in the chart and understand the effect of planets an the nakshatras in the chart.

For example the books says that  if Moon is in Pushya then the person is "lucky, leanrned, wealthy, ethical". If moon is in Ashelesha the person is false, wicked ungrateful, crafty.

Another statement from the book is - Natives born with Ardra rising on the ascendant have large faces and curly hair.

I know my nakshatra (Pushya) but my question is- how do i identify the other nakshatras in the chart? I know my ascendant (scorpio) but i do not know the ascending nakshatra. I only have the chart generated by one of the free websites.....but it does not give me any table of additional information other than my nakshatra and rashi.

I know my moon is in the 9th bhava (house) and the number 4 (cancer) resides in this house. (I am assuming that this is the right terminology when i say cancer "resides" in the 9th bhava).

How do i know which nakshatra does the moon reside in my chart?

I searched the internet on how to find all the nakshatras in a person's chart but i did not come across anything with that info.

If there is another link i should refer to let me know.

I will advise you to start from chapter first of the learning forum instead of going to 8th chapter directly coz u need
to know whats the importance of other things and how to derive results.
And most importantly dont go to this type of interpretation directly that so and so lagna or raashi or nakshatra
will make native so and so... coz you need to knwo the logic behind derivation instead of reaching on the
prediction directly.
