hi astrology friends,
Also, I do have a doubt as to the exact time of birth as it is considered to calculate the lagna. The predominant view is that it is the time the umbilical cord is cut and i too rely on this.I have also heard a view where the first time the baby cries is taken as lagna. The basis for this is that the baby begins to breathe with its first cry.now for babies whose birth is by cesearean,is it right to calculate the time of birth as per the surgical delivery time? is there a vedic sanctity for the same? or it should be the natural time the child would have been born had the delivery been normal?
anyway...let me provide the information i have that is..based on standard works it is the moment the umbilical cord is cut, that is the moment of birth of the child.thus during cesearean, it is better to resort to prasnamarga to determine the birth of the child.

anyway...it is a great wonder that, vedic astrology can explain the different lives of twins using the concept of 60 divisional charts.also the ashtakavarga charts are triumphs of human genius.more over, i have observed that the nadi jyothisham explanation in my life and that made by vedic astrologres matched in some important respects.logically, i like to offer this as my personal prove to the validity of both the sciences.
i have heard about an astrologer who could look at your face, say your complete horoscope..rasi chart and amsakam and say your future...actually, the planetary positions represents in the horoscope represents the flow of sakthi through the various nadis in our body.their exact number is there in jyotisasthra.
the sun indicates the solar plexus. this point denotes the 'I' in us. in astrology sun is rightly the 'atmakaraka'. similarly each planetary combinations has a corresponding nadi in human body and all these form subtler impressions in the DNA of the person which determines his growth.
the tatwa of formation of body-mind complex and the formation of universe is the same and hence the similarity.
