Dear members,
Of all the yogas in jyotish, i find that the most mysterious yoga would be the vipareeta yoga/rajayoga. This particular yoga promises great success and rewards because it involves evil planets or atleast planets that are related evil houses. But what is really strange is that i haven't come across anyone who has been fortuitous enough to be blessed with the positive results. Instead tremendous psychological stress and mental agony seems to be the only "rewards" of such planets. This may seem expected since the involved planets are related to evil houses but it still does not explain what happens to the rewards?

Another strange observation on my part is that, out of 5 people who are under the influence of a planets dasha/antardasha which are involved in vipareeta yoga/rajayoga combinations, 4 of them fall prey to bad habits such as sexual promiscuity, alcohol and drugs while the remaining person suffers balancing the spiritual and material world. I would also like to clearly point out that the latter does not succumb to the above mentioned vices.

Does anyone here have any experience with instances of vipareeta yogas/rajayogas materializing as per the classic texts? Personally even? If so then please share them with all of us. A lot of light can be shed on this exceptionally mysterious yoga.

i am a case of vipareet raja yoga but jupiter has mixed with them.mine is a virgo lagna with 6th and 8th lord saturn and mars in 12th along with rahu and jupiter.8th lord mars has exchanged houses with 12th lord sun.sun being in 8th along with mercury.my birth details are here under u can check for yourself.6th may 1980.3-45pm.pondicherry.i am running rahu/mer which has so far been bad.i ran the dasa of mars much earlier in my life at 11 to 18.it is during this time i lost my younger brother.then during rahu/jup i lost my father due to heart failure.probably the malefics in 4th house from his own lagna might have been the reason.now during rahu/mer, fight due to inheritance among siblings has erupted.i am a bachelor.other details can be  provided people want to discuss. thank you.

         Yours is a spiritual horoscope. If you persevere with astrology or scientific research,  you will do well. Maybe you should receive formal training from some school like Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

I am also a VRY candidate (20feb60, Mysore, 15:09). I have Ma (6th and 11th lord) conjunct Ve (5th and 12th lord) in 8th. Just went thru my Ve MD. I can certainly say that lot of good things happened in Ve MD. But Ve being yogakaraka for Ge, I think this was to be expected and am not sure whether it is because of VRY.

I can certainly say that no part of Ve MD was traumatic or troublesome.May be I am a little thick skinned.

I have seen some cases of viparith Rajayoga.  Their results can only be confirmed when they are quite old.

All of them has either received double promotions of some sort in their careers   or had sudden turns in their lives.
