Hi Rishirahul ji,
Thank you for your appreciation . Though I would really like to counter your this belief but really sory to say
that u r right,it is being long time since other members are not putting in much of their effort in the forum and
it is not so good a practice.
Though i realy understand that we all got our personal commitments and our own sschedule for our life but taking few mins out of our schedule wont hurt much to anyone of us.And i really would appreciate everyone's initiative in this.
This will definetely not just improve our knowledge but also keep the forum lively and more interactive.
I will join Rishirahul ji for an attempt to again rekindle entusiasm in the forum.
Regards,

Hi Raman,
By saying about countering belief, I was not able to explain myself precisely.
What I meant was about different perceptions, mentioned in the above post to astro_scholr.
I am sure that the others are well alive in the board, but maybe more passively.
But, its great knowing what you said; and also if they particpate with their views.

Rishirahulji,
Sorry I am not one of those who challenge unless someone is writing total BS, playing mind games etc. Previously when RRji used to be here, we together used to pull your leg to cause you some irritation which was a source of our (me and RRji) enjoyment. I feel fortunate that you did not mind those and not only continue to communicate but have helped me grow immensely over the last couple years. Believe me, I read everyone of your posts and my thoughts mostly match up or are deficient, hence the muted or brief response. BTW, I have had so much on my plate lately including the Benham book which I am halfway through already, cannot appreciate your suggestion enough on that one.
Thanks and regards,
Proj

H Proj,
Well, Thanks!! I am feeling less cheated than I was when I made this post....comfort zone.
I was out of station the last 2 days, so late in responding.
It seems that the older ones in our MB family are busy too, and probably most of us are feeling cheated as they are silent.

Namastey Rishiji
Cheated ? well i cant say that as fall into the group of seekers rather givers. But sure would like to share my experience. Since the day you posted this thread I wished to share but certain inhibitions kept me from doing so. A vist to MB makes anyone clear that people come at MB not for discussion (learning) but more for reading. I feel so cos my very initial visits were so targeted. But later as i began learning things kept changing. Its impossible to stop people from the urge of getting a free reading. Though there exists a separate reading thread , for a new comer the discussion from is easy to access. So he simply puts in his query there. At times a person may ask his question in some discussion thread where he/she feels he might get an answer.
You and Rhutoji do an exhaustive job of moving them to rightful departments but yet a camouflaged personal question in a discussion forum kills the thread. I guess Raman in some thread has given an excellent example of this. The thread regarding First House by Dr, Atul may die out as some one has posted a personal question. If the question is left unanswered then the questioner feels cheated, while if answered the thread (topic) gets hijacked. When this keeps repeating over time we see that responses keep dying out. As a learner, at times I see that questions targeted to learn remain unanswered over the personal ones. Even this kills the Will of learners to ask further questions. If I keep on posting the same question I feel I m nagging so I hold myself back. I don't feel the seniors don't want ans or the learners don't want to question, they sure want to but a confusion perhaps prevails which holds all of us back. Hence we tend to get more passive but sure have not deserted MB.
This is just my opinion which may be wrong (esp with Mer currently retro :D ), but thought i might share the feeling of a answer seeker too. In case I have over said or overstepped please do excuse me .
warmly
Asro
