well may be the god will has to be there for that person to think that  foolishly in the first place.

Yes, and the statement you give is what I am afraid for.

It is a statement that always take responsibility away from you as person and put it in the hands of God.

On the other side, You don't always follow Gods word, but you follow a beliefs word, and that is two different thing.

What should the teaching of God be if (S)he asked someone to do that action?
The only outcome had to be death to driver and a lot of people.
For what? Do your God play? Are your God a cruel one? WHY? WHY?
Do really your heart tell you this? or is it an easy excuse for not taking stand?....do we use God as a keg where we throw anything that isn't pleasant, where we try to draw out opinions that we don't want questioned, and say It's Gods will?

Ask WHY?

WHY? have God determined that we shall have a great pollution that kills many, that makes many more to suffer, that change our water and air?

I only find one answer, seen from your belief!
He has become angry at mankind.
He see that even if he have given us a brain, we are not able to think, we will still depend on him, and let him micro control us.
He has found that we are not worthy, because even if warnings are to be seen, if one open ones eyes, we still don't want do something....we still pollute our own living area, we are like small kids, doing it in our own bed, and believe that father shall clean up after us!

Better to change the chemical balance, which will give opening  for something...hopefully more advanced form for life.

From my belief:

We are responsible for the pollution because we are greedy!
If we look back in time, humans knew that if they should  exploit the nature, then they had to show respect for it.
They had only to use what they needed, in order to progress.

By introduce value, and money....greed become one of our greatest sins.
We are collecting values, on other humans sweat, some patrons are good, but most only look at the bottom line.
We exploit nature, in a way nature can't reproduce itself. We put chemicals into it, we make modifications to plants and animals, we grow in population in a very alarming way....

I for one can't find that this is the thought and Will of a God, but I can believe it is the thoughts of a human race.

And if your belief is rights...that everything happen with his will;

Then my struggle is also from Him, so at least give it a thought, and not an easy basked to throw it in!

first of all its not a statement, it was a pun response to a childish example. May be i should have used a smiley.

Secondly i personally donot like to bring god into anything and i would also like you to respond in free will and fate terms. Your understanding of God may be different from others understanding.

Thirdly its pretty clear from your posts that you have an agenda of your own and donot care much about others opinions.

And finally there is no point in discussing when the person knows the answer and still asks the question for argument sake.

Assuming this is a discussion on Destiny, Fate and Free-will, I would just like to say my 2 cents.

Destiny is predetermined course of events, whether in general or of an individual. Each Human birth takes place to carry out its allocated task (Destiny) in accordance to its Karmas. This allocation of task is called Destiny

Fate is an outcome determined by an outside agency acting upon a person or entity. Fate defines events as ordered or "inevitable".

Free-Will is the power to choose & make our own Destiny & Fate, while being under the influence of Karma (the law of cause & effect).

Destiny may be seen either as a fixed sequence of events that is inevitable and unchangeable, or that individuals choose their own destiny by choosing (free-will) different paths throughout their life.

But if Free-Will is not limited then what stops a man from achieving whatever he desires. He can act & act till he gets what he wants.

Imagine a cow tied to a peg by a rope, the peg is Fate or Destiny, there is nothing the cow can do about it. The rope is the Free-will, its elasticity & its length are decided by Past & Present Karma’s. The cow can do what she wants within the area covered by the rope.

Hope it helps.

We are just voicing our person opinions here... but not applying a point to point replying with logic/ discussion.

A discussion goes nowhere like this, but is Really Great for Socializing and voicing our opinions.

The example of the animal tied to the rope was given by Ramakrishna Parahamsa, a well known sage.

Agree, it is a very good picture, and is valid even for me who believe in free will, because as stated before...we can't do everything, we can't achieve everything, but we have the choice to try

What the above saying was not telling, is how long the rope was,(who can measure karma?) and what soil the cow was in...with that lacking...we put ourselves in a barren soil, or if the imagination and will is greater, in a fertile one, and with that I also end my contribution to this, to a great relief for many
Lets start again!!!
