i was wondering wat kind of effect will shani give if its in lagna of simha lagna...

will in give -ve results or not as shani is in enemy sign ...so will it make the native ill health....

another thing is will health suffer if there is benefic in 6,8 or 12 in their own rasi ?

Only one thing/placement or rather Shani Alone will not give any -ve or +ve results to the native(s)... first take this out from your Mind (Moon)

Then see what's the strength of Shani in given chart? know the basics well Shani gets directional (Dikbala) when positioned in 7H and in his friends house etc he is considered to be a STRONG. Again to bestow you +Ve or -Ve Results here in your query he is in opp sign.

Now as per your query Shani is in 1H i.e. Lagna and he is in his Enemy's house so what results you would derive?

Just considering the basics Lagna is Self, physical body so Shani here may hinder the physical growth of the native But it also depends upon who's Nakshatra is this Shani is placed? and what is the condition of that Nakshatra Lord in the given horoscope?

i tried predicting a particular case -

birth details are as below:-

9 june 1978
time = 10.55 am
place = srikakulam

in this horoscope :-

1. the simha lagna has shani and mars, moon in 12th bhaav- karak rasi , rahu in 2nd house with kulik kaalsarpa yog being  
    formed.

2. based on this i feel shani is weak in lagna in enemy kshetra and that too with enemy mars...so it shud give -ve effects of
   health to native. however since its associated with mars if the result will alter or not i m not sure...

3.  the native has mangal in lagan however since its with shani...managal dosh will get negated. but shani is weak so will it negate?

4. kulik kalsarpa yog is present in the native's horoscope  - indicating health issues and finanical troubles(crisis) . [ this yog is  
  in 2nd house so finance troubles ]

5. moon in 12th house- benefics in 6,8,12 give troubles ...but moon is strong in 12th so the person will go abroad. ...but will it
  give troubles too?

I  haven't casted the chart but would like to add a few things to what you say based on Leo lagna.

According to B V Raman, one of the rules that cancel Mangal dosha is  .. for Leo lagna Mars in any house does not cause Mangal Dosha.
A  lot of astrologers follow different methods, like some say even if there are rules for cancellation, as such there is not complete cancellation of this yoga , but cancellation just reduces the intensity of its effects.  

I do not know if Shani with Mar gives rise to any cancellation of Mangal Dosha.   (Mars is yogakarak for Leo lagna)

Shani in 1st house is in his Marna karka sthana (MKS).  Its like  the karak of diseases is given the duty to protect the native from diseases. Also he is lord of 6th and 7th , hence these houses -spheres of life -shall be effected.
