Dear Prasanth,
I was late in replying,  I think there has been enough discussion on war.
I think you should first understand What 'Rhutobello' Sir said ... what he was trying to pass the view is" to withdraw is not always a defeat " .
My Suggestions to you is
1. Dont be too critical towards our own country "India",  such that you see only the negative side.
2.The most important thing is that on this forum, everyone here is very senior and respected, we must pay due respect to them this is not a chat side my friend
and what I think that referring to our seniors with "Hey" man and all that stuffs should be refrained.
Please understand what I am trying to convey.
Thanks and Regards

As Pak media has brain-washed the people, We Indians have neglected history to a large extent

Its our cry that India never lost a war against Pakistan but we did
Infact Kargil war stopped due to forceful pressure by the Clinton administration on Pakistan to pull back the troops

Maybe you must read a bit yourself......it is not a defeat in itself to withdraw.....it is not always a victory to win.

First of all ,I would disagree that the date of birth of india as a nation is the independence day...it is definitely the birth date of pakistan. As a nation india existed from time immemorial and the name too is age-old.a nation is not just the geographic boundary but it is the entire civilisation..it is the entire heritage...while we still speak high of the vedic heritage, pakistan now doent own it..as they separated as a nation.Had august 15th 1947 be the day india was born, it is logically incorrect to take pride in all our ancient heros..swamy vivekanada, sree Ramakrishna paramahamsa..the freedom fighters..all who lived long before the date...no, never is india born that day...it is ridiculous to say so..india..is the oldest civilization that has existed from thapast..this is the land through which  sree Rama, Sree Krishna, Sabari all have walked..and its birth date..dates back to the prevedic times.
Also,The oroginal name Bharat has been coined after Jadabharatha..the great bhagavatothama..in Sreemat Bhagavatham..Thus I believe...his coronation day can be taken as the birth date of Bharatavarsha.
How is India's future??
