Hello all,
I have two different questions
There are at least 20 to 30 aynamsa's and I think lahiri, raman and KP are the popular ones. Any how my question is with divided followers for different aynamsas how is the time rectification possible if a person says he is born some where between 1 to 2 hours of a given time. And one more thing I donot understand is how is it possible for two prominent astrologers of our time KN Rao Ji and B V Raman Ji to follow two different ayanamsas and get accurate predictions as i have seen chitrapaksha and raman vary quite a bit.
And now coming to The PUNE EXPERIMENT.
Recently in current science journal march issue an article abt test of astrology is published i found it while browsing online. I donot know if forum members are aware abt it or not.
Any how I would like to know opinions of the members regarding the procedure of the test and if they find any faults with experiment (pros and cons) and would they endorse such study/test for horoscope matching for compatibility as it is the most widely used astrology service in India. I am attaching the pdf link.

Hi,
Ayanamsas are and will continue to be a hindrance for Astrologers. perceptions.
Let us suppose that there exists a perfect Ayanamsa=X
Yet another astrologer uses another ayanamsa correctly. Why?
Ayanamasas in Astrology reveal certain patterns in life, like numbers and progressions do.
Examples of progressions/ patterns are Western progressions, tajik, divisional charts, numerology numbers like 7 and 9 and even aynamsas.
Dr. B.V. Raman followed his own patterns/ayanamsa which suited his thinking in predictions/ analysis. His astrological knowledge worked better/ suited his perception.
Ultimately it is the result that matters.
You or some may find my above statements illogical...But.
I, in my analysis/while detailed analysis follow 4 ayanamsas for time predictions. Namely Chitrapaksha, Raman, Fagan, RohiniRanjan to arrive at details.
If I exclude Raman ayanamsa, I face perception problems in arriving to results.
If I exclude Chitrapaksha, I face similar problems.
Rohinianjan ayanamsa helps me to further fine tune.
Fagans give me a different kind of perceptions.
I tret them somewhat like dasas. Dasa are progressions too... Each dasa for a perception.
Many perceptions lead us closer to Real Truth.
Long post.!. Tough topic for discussing!
