 To all those wondering and confused about Guru-Chandal-yoga, i think a true-life experience might help. I have Rahu, Jup, retro Saturn, mars all in 3rd house Leo. To say that this yoga is extremely bad would not be a true statement. But it definately materializes in one's lifetime...but it's not that bad really.
 I personally noticed alot of issues with my siblings. And that's quite recent stuff. But throughout my life, i have always had radical views on everything especially spirituality/religion. I am being guided by a guru, and we did have a falling out....but we remain on good terms now. And it was him infact that told me that my GCY will ruin our relationship. But it hasn't really done that.
 I feel having GCY is a blessing becus it's given me immense amount of courage and discipline. I am not afraid to speak my mind or question a path that doesn't seem right to me. True there might be some rigidity and extremism, but how much would i value balance if not for the extremism in the first place. People who are neither here nor there go through life not having scrutinized their life. But those who have strong views and personalities are constantly looking for answers so as to better themselves. I personally feel GCY cannot possibly be so bad. The lord of my 3rd house is sun, which is exalted in 11th house with mercury. While i don't understand astrology to a great extent, i can tell you real-life experiences should also be seen. It's not all black and white.

you are absolutely right, its never just black and white... its mostly in the grey....

it is life...and life is unpredictable...which I for one is glad for...give much more excitement and meaning to go through it
