i know there is one with reading chalisa bajrang baan etc for 40 days...does anyone know the exact procedure...if so plz help....any other suggestion is also welcome

Namaskaar all,
A few years back Pundit Sanjay Rath in one of his forum had given the following advise to someone afflicted by Black magic. I paste it here so that more may be benefitted.

You will notice that the tantra was done on a Saturday and since the material was given at 7.20 pm, it is in the time when Uchchatan or Vidveshan is done and this is not Marana tantra i.e. the objective is to cause many troubles, financial hurdles and not for killing anyone.
The tithi clearly points at the prevailing Shakti being Durga (Krishna
Tritiya - study Prasna Marga for more details on special tithis).

You should protect yourself and your family from the evil by SHANTI
and the USE of SATVIK methods only. Remember that this is only another method of Bhagavan testing you and you should not fail Jagannatha Mahaprabhu. The following mantras should be done by you and wife.

Keep an idol of Jagannath or your Ista devata.

1. Recite the mantra 'om shante shante sarva-rishta-nashini svaahaa'
(this should be done for Durga/Subhadra) recite 108 times after
panchupachar puja [JWARAADI SHANTI PRAYOGA]

2. Keep a kalasha (earthern pot) full of water (that is to be drunk by the
family) and recite the mantra 108 times for the jala abhimantrana
[Ku-Kritya shanti]

om sam saam sim siim sum suum seim saim soum saum sam sah
vam vaam vim viim vum vuum veim vaim voum vaum vam vah hamsah amrita-varcchase svaahaa

om + 12 shakta bija (sa) with the 12 vowels for the 12 rasi + 12 jala bija
(va) with the 12 vowels for the 12 rasi

This wanter is now to be drunk by you and the family for purity.

3. Now the third step is to prevent the happening of untoward events
[Vividha Aapad shanti]

Either remembering Hanuman, Shiva or Lord Narasimha or any other deity recite the following mantra 1008 times

om haum kshraum hamsah ham

4. Finally we should also address the very cause of all these anxiety
and problems so that they may not recur [Devata Shanti Prayog]

If you are initiated into the bijas then the mantra 'om namo bhagavate
vasudevaaya' is like thunder as the devata is UGRA MADHUSUDANA..Krishna in the battle field. You can do another mantra
also -

om shante prashante sarva-krodha-pashamani svaahaa (in fact do this
mantra
108 times before starting the Madhusudana mantra.) See the results for yourself.

Remember that there is nopoint in retaliating with all kinds of sadhana and it is best to place everything at the feet of Jagannatha. He has sent you here. He will take care.
