Namaskaar Rishi ji,
Gl is in the Al (i take the defination of sunrise as tip of Sun is appears to rise on the horizon).

You will find the option in the preference tab. In the 'related to calculation' sub menu. Click on ' sunrise suset defination'.

But what you say is very logical!  Retrogession is not a true phenomenon, but it about what the planet appears to be, due to light factors.... Light... Maya...Wordly Truth!!
