How important are Yogini dashas? i couldnt find information about them. I mostly hear about Vimshottari dasha. How is bhramari yoga (under yogini dashas) ?

I think Yogini dashas very often contradict Vimshottari dashas.
Besides, the Yogini dasha system is not accepted in all parts of India.... certainly not in Maharashtra.

There is a lot of confusion about the Yoginis themselves. Which are the true 64 Yoginis? If they are the ones mentioned in Devi Bhagawat, they do not match the ones described elsewhere.

Why are there only 8 yogini dashas?
I read a book called Yogini dasha by one Mr. K.N.Rao but could find no answers to my questions.

The experiencing time of the results of the past karma can be known from dasas and the vidasas of the various planets in a horoscope.  There are various types of dasas like Vimsottari, Ashtottari, kalachakra dasa, Jaimini dasa etc. Yogini dasa also takes part in these series. It is dealt in Parasarahora and Daivagna karnamritam.
There are eight dasas in this system. All the planets expect Ketu take part as the rulers of these dasas. Mangala, Pingala, Dhanya, Bhramari, Bhadrika, Ulkam Siddha and Sankata are eight dasas.

To know which dasa is running at the time of birth : Count from Aswini to that of natal star and add 3.  Then divide the sum by 8.  The reminder will indicate dasa from Mangala onwards. If reminder 1 then Mangala dasa.  If it is 7 then Siddha dasa starts.  If reminder is ‘0’ it is equal to 8.  So Sankatadasa starts.
Suppose the person’s janma star is Arudra.  It is 6 from Aswini. Add 3 to it . Total 9. Divide it by 8. The reminder is 1. So the born people start thie first dasa with Mangala dasa.

Like in Vimsottari here also we can calculate dasa balance.  Some authors opine balsnce is not necessary. In my experience some times taking the balance years gave good results.  But in some examples it did not work well.
Mangala dasa
Mangala dasa gives the native all virtues, education, clothing, wealth, marriage, high status, royal favour, and benefits.
Pingala dasa
The native suffers from stomach disorders, displeasure, heart and eye trouble, troubles from fire, theft and danger from animals.
Dhanya dasa
It gives the native interest in acquiring knowledge, acquisition of wealth, marriage, and vehicle, auspicious deeds take place.

Bhramari dasa
Troubles through lands, misunderstandings, Devoid of comforts, royal displeasure, ill health and sorrows will be experienced.
Bhadrika dasa
The native will be happy, will have all virtues, enjoy all comforts, education and family happiness.
Ulka dasa
The native will face royal displeasure, mental worry, suffering from diseases, troubles from enemies, lack of wisdom, danger from fire etc. will be there.
Siddha dasa
It brings good clothing, wealth, status, property and prosperity, fulfillment of all desires.
Sankata dasa
It gives mental worry, Loss of courage, even death, financial loss,

All these results are modified by the placement of the concerned planet.

But what about the times when the results predicted by Yogini dashas do not match or when they actually contradict the Vimshottari dasha predicitions?

That happens many a time, and then one doensn't know what to think!

I have overome that obstacle by praying to the Yoginis, but continuing to follow the Vimshottari dasha system of my own forefathers. Yoginis are extremely pwerful Shaktis, no doubt.

I'm curious to know whether you follow ONLY Yogini dasha system, yourself?
