Like annual or monthly medini kundalis, one can also draw medini kundalis for entire yuga. Let us examine the kundali of present Kaliyuga (Kali Age) which is effective for 432000 years starting from the onset of Kaliyuga.

Mean Sun entering into sidereal Mesha (Aries) at the midnight of 17-18 Feb 3101 BC (Julian) is the zero date from which ahargana (' days' count ') is counted by all traditional panchānga makers of India. But actual onset of Kaliyuga should be reckoned with the help of true Sun and not mean Sun. Hence, Kaliyuga actually began over two days earlier, exact time depending upon longitude of the place of observation (20:29:55 PM  for Vidisha's kundali).

There are two horoscopes for Kaliyuga, one from Mt Meru and another from Vidishā. Meru-kundali is effective for the whole world, and Vidishā-kundali is effective only for India (within ancient boundaries, from Indus to Brahmaputra upto Prāgjyotishapur/Guwāhāti/Kāmākhyā, whose geographical centre was at Vidishā).

Let us first look at the Merucetric Jagat-lagna of Kaliyuga (top picture), Vidishā-kundali (bottom picture).

These kundalis are largely self-explanatory. In world's horoscope, most of the planets are strongly situated in the house of Kāma (7th), and in India's horoscope, most of the planets are residing in the house of enemy and diseases ! Too many planets in a single house is believed to be bad. But there is one positive news for India : in the Meru-kundali, India lies in the house of Dharma. Let us see how these horoscopes are judged by readers.

Top pictue is Merucentric horoscope on world map. Rāshis are always fixed, sidereal Aries always facing east. Ascendant (lagna) and other bhāvas (houses) move with time, hence these 12 bhāvas are collectively called Bhāva-chalita. In Kali-kundali, lagna is depicted with blue arch on the central circle and regions in lagna include most of West Africa, SE USA and most of meso-America. Lagna is bounded with dotted red line on top and dotted blue line on bottom. Other houses can be recognized similarly. India (excl. southern tip), most of China and Japan fall in 9th mansion.

7 planets lie in 7th house, afflicting the world with carnal lust as Kaliyuga progresses. I've never seen such an assembly of planets in any Varshārambha kundali. This kundali matches the descriptions of Kaliyuga in Bhavishya and other Purānas.

First Drikpakshiya khandakalpa of present Kaliyuga ended in 2000 AD, followed by an interregnum, after which next Drikpakshiya khandakalpa of 42000 years will commence. In the beginning of a khandakalpa, countries near Mt Meru (Mt Kenya) will reap the benefit of a good bhāva or planet, but with progress of time countries away from Mt Meru will get those very benefits. For instance, lord of 9th bhāva is combust with Sun and both are exalted. As a result, India will dominate in the beginning, followed by China and lastly by Japan. During the interregnum, a faster reversion will occur, in which India will regain dominance over the world by the end of present interregnum which has already begun. At present, dominance in this part of the world is shifting from Japan to China. India has to wait for her turn.

USA dominated at the fag end of Drikpakshiya khandakalpa ending at 2000 AD, and now its share will be seized by Western Europe, followed by Italy and Greece, and then by Egypy and lastly by regions of ancient Meroitic civilization of Meru during current interregnum. It will exactly repeat the direction of history but in reverse order. But this region lies in 12th bhāva, which means countries in this bhāva will be fond of spendind instead of saving. Rome did that and now USA is doing the same.

The bottom picture is India's Kali-kundali centred at Vidishā. Gujarāt lies in lagna. At the end of Drikpakshiya khandakalpa in 2000 AD, region of dominance shifted away from Vidishā towards the Indus, but now reverse motion has started, with impending decline of Indus regions (now Pakistan) in coming centuries.

Colours in Aspect tables have not been exactly reproduced here due to some problem in internet or mysticboard which I do not understand.

Only a part of Sarvatobhadra table is visible in the World Horoscope. Sarvatobhadra is used for getting finer details. For instance, Europe lies in the house lorded by exalted Sun, and the first syllable of Europe's name contains "y" varna and "u" vowel. Since both 'y' and 'u' are 'viddha' by exalted Sun, Europe will retain prominence during all sub-cycles of entire 43200 years of Drikpakshiya khandakalpa plus interregnum, whether USA rises to prominence or Egypt does so. There are 84 Tāntric chakras like the Sarvatobhadra described in dozens of ancient Yāmala Tantras.

I am presenting here only some salient features. Readers may apply principles of Sage Parāshara for further details.

Some of the ideas used above are little known. I hope readers will tolerate this ancient technique, which is highly accurate for annual, monthly, fortnightly (nakshatra) and 12-hourly forecasts. Sceptics can ask me for proofs.

Planetary computations must be carried along ancient Surya-siddhāntic techniques to get absolutely perfect results. Here, many modern astrologers get repulsed and often even refuse to test the validity of Vedic techniques, forgetting that Vedic planets are not physical objects but deities invisible to human senses.

There are 84  astrological chakras in ancient tantras. Some are well known, like the panch-shalaakaa chakra used in Vedic marriages. Others have been forgotten because astrologers lost interest in national astrology due to lack of state patronagwe for aboutr a millenium.

I've wriiten about some chakras, but in Hindi. I am translating it gradually for putting it at my website.
