It is very interesting that there is a town with the same name Meru near the Mt.Meru our ancients considered to be the center.

Also, there have been a lot of theories that some people migrated to India from the present Africa, over a period of time.

Puranas say Brahma jee created everything sitting at from Mt Meru. Biologists say modern genus of humans evolved in east-central Africa nearly 4 million years ago. According to ancient theories, eg Suryasiddhantic, last Deluge ended 3893109 years ago, after which Satayuga began.

I don't believe it is a coincidence Vinayji.

As I was growing up, I was always interested in mythology and have read references to Mt. Meru.

So, I was surprised to read it in your article too for the first time.

Our knowledge of the past, which has been passed on through some literary works and and works of some great seers is great.

I always look at everything with an open mind.
