I have to agree,  We were given the greatest gift of all,  Free Will
While we may have a destiny and a plan to fufill weither we know about it or not,
I think it is still our choice if we follow the plan and fufill our destiny or not.

If you realy think about it,  Free will is the greatest thing humans have.

Think of destiny as yesterday's free-will
and free-will as creating destiny for tomorrow
All confusions will vanish!

Well...I think it happen a bit faster then that

Since an action you do (and most of our action is under free will) never can be undone, our destiny change in the moment we do our action.

Just like I send this post now...someone read...someone respond...if I use my free will not to send....no one will know my intent...no one respond.

When I get married...I am married in the moment it is done, and I must by choice, and action do the best I can to stay so.

A person who kill another person, is a murder in that moment, not before, and not long after.

If I chose to turn left on my walk, I meet other people then if I chose to turn right, or to move straight ahead.
My right turn might lead to meeting a person, that I learn to know and which might build into a relationship....this might not have happen if I took another choice.

So we are in a boiling pot, where we all take different choices all the time, this will lead to an ever changing destiny for us all, and the best way to continue our life is to try our best to fit in, and work towards our goals

Yes Rhutobello you are right! The cheque of destiny gets written and signed by the act of free will, but it gets cashed tomorrow (not literal tomorrow but later). It is that fructification of the destiny that I was talking about and not creation of destiny (the cheque!).

Thanks

Rhutobello,

Just to make sure there are no confusions, I am responding to this portion of your message:

A person who kill another person, is a murder in that moment, not before, and not long after.

Simple version: Yes he does not get labelled as a murderER until he murders! Or is it the moment when he DECIDES to kill? Which precedes the ACT? Famous SIMPSON case and I do not mean the bald idiot guy living in Springfield that some watch on TV!

Perhaps we should not mix up or get mixed up when we talk about law!

There is the human law: Simpson
There is the DIVINE LAW: KARMA

Perhaps different things altogether and even 6-7 decades in this reality given what baby boomers have gone through are not enough to pronounce judgments and pontific positions but just the right positions to observe and be grateful for what is happening and to have a significant part in it: as in NOW!

Most of the confusions arise in life when we extrapolate!

When we extrapolate from our personal and individual observation to the rest of humanity (7 billion and growing!)

When we assume and believe in the position (not fact?) that this is the last shot! What we decide is final and we are not coming back!

Buddha was wise for he chose the middle path! It allows for options! I wonder why that Indian prince born into the better times of Hinduism chose the middle path and made such a great difference that we are seeing it influence humanity even today!

Shawshank Redemption is the story of a person who was sentenced for a murder he did not commit, the murder of his wife. But he did contemplate it, even if for a few moments!

In the prison, he confides in his friend that he feels that he did murder his wife even though he did not pull the trigger. His silence, his inability to express his emotions to her drove her away from him and what happened next was a consequence of that.

The part of the message I quoted reminded me of this film.
