I trying to understand basic concepts in astrology and am confused about the interpretation of an exalted planet which is placed in 6, 8, or 12. I was studying two charts in which I came across this issues, and I am sure it is a common one at that.

In a Kumbha rising chart in which Mercury is lord of fifth house and eighth house is in Virgo in 8th (19 degrees). What will be the combined effect of such a Mercury on children and longevity?

In another chart, with Aries rising I find Venus (4 degree) in Pisces but this Venus is residing twelfth house. Venus has lordship over 2nd (dhan) and 7th (yuvati) bhavas. How would one interpret the results of Venus in this chart? I should also inform that Venus is placed in a Trikona to Moon, which is in eighth house in a debilitated state. However, Mars, which is also the ruler of 8th house is in his own house in Aries.

I request that the more learned astrologers throw some light on this.
hmm

I am disappointed that nobody replied to my query. I am sure it must be lack of time because it should be a simple question, for experienced astrologers, to answer.

I once again request for a reply from anybody who has any knowledge on this.
thanks!

Dear
If the exhalted or any other planet is placed in trik bhavas it becomes detrimental for the bhav it represents and same is true for lords of 6,8 & 12th houses placed in different bhavas they mitigate the goodness of that bhava. A lot depends on the situational analysis , so giving a genral statement is kind of difficult .

Regards
