As long as the thread develop in a "good" way, I think it would be wrong to close it down.

The discussion gives "enlightenment" to different members and to RR himself.

Maybe it gives room for after thoughts from those who thought RR was a "not polite person", maybe the thread show RR (I also think he surf us) that he has a lot of fans or friends among the regular user of Vedic.

Maybe, if he choose to again participate we all will come stronger out of it.

Many times we need to hear that we are wanted, most of the time are those who complain, those who have the highest voice, and we can start to feel we are not welcome anymore.

Well, it seems administration and regular user of Vedic forum agree that we want him back, so the forum again can have some heated discussions, but in a friendly way, I for one would be glad if it happen

The reason I suggested that it is better to close the thread was that, the concerned person is not available  currently and currently has not access to the site. In such situation  I fear any wrong posting would be blown out of proportion and can send some wrong signals too, both about the individual as well as the site. When he has left of his own for best known reasons to him and once the owners of this site have accepted his request  of getting  deactivated, I feel it would be stretching far to talk about him ,either good or bad, in his absence .  I will really be happy, if Sri Rohiniji personally comes back this forum.

I may be wrong in this suggestion, but my sincere feeling is that this thread should be closed forthwith

I agree with Rhutobello and Govardhantji, and also with the powerful instincts of Swetha; not because they are latter two are site administrators and owner, but because they are speaking wise sense... not emotional sense.

Emotional sense is important, no doubt.  But wisdom and politeness should be friendly, and RohiniRanjanji does not want to return.

Good and wise knowledge is good learning.
