DEAR RAMANJI
THANKS FOR POSTING THIS ARTICLE ABOUT sIMHA GURU, I TOO heard that IS special. In my husband's chart i see this placement both in rasi and Navamsa chart. I think then this is termed to be vargothama graha, and more over his lagna is Leo. Then he comes under vargothama lagna too. Somebody told me this is very special. But How? i dont know. I would like to request Our GOvardhanji to explain us more about this.
I know we in tamil nadu used to celebrate a holy festival called Maha maham during every 12years as we used to see celebrations in Haridwar of KUMBHAMELA. We all know that GUru grah takes 1 year time for his transit into other rasi. Guru takes 4332 days to rotate surya once. Then it is not completing 12 years time, It is roughly about 11.868 years. I think this is the reason we find Guru's transit sometimes takes lesser time than one year. I have seen this Maha mkam celebrations were done sometime during 11 years gap itself. This Maha makam is celebrated in KUMBAKONaM (where it is said in certain pond all rivers gets sangam during that time, and having holi dip into that pond during that Maha makam is considered to be a great punya.)This festival is observed only when Guru graha enters into simha rasi Once in 12 years , being the star of makam, and surya should be placed on Kumbha rasi, that too , that day must be poornima thithi.
From 1500 to 2004 , we saw these celebrations took place for 41 times. Let me give the details of the years: 1518, 1529, 1541, 1553, 1565, 1577, 1589, 1600, 1612, 1624, 1636, 1648, 1660, 1672, 1683, 1695, 1707, 1719, 1735, 1743, 1755, 1767, 1778, 1790, 1802, 1814, 1826, 1838,1850, 1861, 1873, 1887,1909, 1921,1933, 1945, 1956, 1968, 1980,1992, 2004.
From the above we find guru"s transit is not exactly taking place in every 1 year. I would like others to share more on this topic of guru in Leo.
with regards,
prasanna.
LEAD, KINDLY LIGHT.
