Hi Everyone,
I was going through topics of books under KN Rao ji's guidance.
there i found this book, this is specifically about Simhasta Guru i.e. Jupiter placed in Leo.
Why do you think this is so special to write about.
I am asking this coz before also i have heard about this placement of
jupiter.
Even though Sun is supposed to be(great)friend of jupiter and vice versa but even then it is known to give few not so good or unexpected results.

This is not my personal experience but would like to know from others.
Have they found something different about this placement of jupiter.
Please share

Regards,
Raman

Dear Raman

May be I am subject to correction. Without going into standard dictums, anything near to sun or in the house of Sun gets burnt out and become weak. If benefic is placed in such a position, it becomes a weak and  not able to give good benefit and result. Likewise if Natural Malefic is present in LEO it losses its identity and would not give any trouble at all. Mars in LEO as per standard dictum never produces Mangali or Kuja Dosha

DEAR RAMANJI

THANKS FOR POSTING THIS ARTICLE ABOUT sIMHA GURU, I TOO heard  that  IS special. In my husband's chart i see this placement both in rasi and Navamsa chart. I think then this is  termed to be vargothama graha, and more over his lagna is  Leo. Then he comes under vargothama lagna too. Somebody told me this is very special. But How? i dont know. I would like to request Our GOvardhanji to explain us more about this.

I know we in tamil nadu used to celebrate a holy festival called Maha maham during every 12years as we used to see celebrations in Haridwar of KUMBHAMELA.  We all know that GUru grah takes 1 year time for his transit into other rasi. Guru takes 4332 days to rotate surya once. Then it is not completing 12 years time, It is roughly about 11.868 years. I think this is the reason we find Guru's transit sometimes takes lesser time than one year. I have seen this Maha mkam celebrations were done sometime during 11 years gap itself. This Maha makam is celebrated in KUMBAKONaM (where it is said in certain pond all rivers gets sangam during that time, and having holi dip into that pond during that Maha makam is considered to be a great punya.)This festival is observed only when Guru graha enters into simha rasi Once in 12 years , being the star of makam, and surya should be placed on Kumbha rasi, that too , that day must be poornima thithi.

              From 1500 to 2004 , we saw these celebrations took place for 41 times. Let me give the details of the years:  1518, 1529, 1541, 1553, 1565, 1577, 1589, 1600, 1612, 1624, 1636, 1648, 1660, 1672, 1683, 1695, 1707, 1719, 1735, 1743, 1755, 1767, 1778, 1790, 1802, 1814, 1826, 1838,1850, 1861, 1873, 1887,1909, 1921,1933, 1945, 1956, 1968, 1980,1992, 2004.

From the above we find guru"s transit is not exactly taking place in every 1  year. I would like others to share more on this topic of guru in Leo.

 with regards,
prasanna.

LEAD, KINDLY LIGHT.

Dear Govardhan ji,

Thank you for replying.I did know about combustion when planet gets near to Sun but never heard of this fact that this will also result when planet even gets into simha rashi. How can this be possible coz if there is not a presense of sun in a rashi(be it leo)then what will make planet gets combusted. As far as i remember what i read was that planet gets "Astha" i.e. not visible when it gets close to sun but how this is possible when planet gets in simha rashi without sun in it.

One more thing is that there so much fuss and cry about Saturn transitting into Simha raashi this year but it means all that was just for attention. It shudnt have matter much(Atleast from gochar point of view) coz even if it is his enemy's house but since this being Simha raashi Saturn shudnt have cozed anything VERY.bad.

Please put your thoughts about this topic govardhan ji or share some experince of yours and help me further in understanding ...

Now i remember that book was related to "Marriages in Simhastha Guru".
Is there anything more special about Jupiter being in Simha rashi you like to share..

Regards,
Raman

Dear Sri Goverdhan Ji,

Some of your below comments are making me confused i agree with your statement that, anything near to Sun gets burnt and becomes weak..

What is your opinion on Rahu Conjuct closely with Sun in a same house? be it Leo or any other sign some learned members say "When Node Joins Light, Light Vanishes"

you wrote Mars being in LEO never produces Mangali Dosha agreed..then what about other steangths or qualities of Mars? in all Mars is WEAK? in LEO? even though Sun is a friendly planet for Mars?

I have another question on Mars Why and how Mars gets Deblitated in Friendly sign i.e. Cancer? What standared dictums says about this?

Let's look from the Deblitation point of view

Jup deblitated in Capricorn-an enemy's house
Sun deblitated Libra an enemy's house
Sat deblitated in Aries an enemy's house
Mer deblitated in Pecies an enemy's house

Ven Deblitated In Vergo a frinedly house!!!??
Moon deblitated in Scropio a frinedly house!!!?
Mars deblitated in Cancer a friendly house!!!??

Sorry if i am off-the-topic and appreciate your insights

Regards
