Hi Everyone ,
I just found that poem..
This is it , its called :-
FOOTSTEPS IN THE SAND
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
Regards,
Raman

Hello,
I have a very serious question, and i would love for the astrologers to comment. It is a very general question, but one that always makes me wonder. I wanted to know, especially from those who practice astrology as a career, if they ever found a chart, that came out completely different from what the astrologers said/predicted, even when the time-of-birth was 100% correct?? For example, if one was promised wealth, but didnt get any, or a chart that said two marriages, but had only one, etc etc. I know the concept of freewill, but i am of the belief that destiny takes the upper hand, meaning wat is written for us will happen, no matter how much we try to avoid it. But since many of you have practiced this science, i was wondering if any of you have seen cases where the chart and life didn't match up, even with correct tob.
I firmly believe in God, but i see alot of people suffering, even i am suffering. Is there no hope. Can a person who is destined to die at a certain age be saved, or can a couple enjoy the bliss of children even when their charts say NO WAY. Miracles are there, no doubt. But i have never seen a complete turn of events for anyone. Have any of you?? Please do answer. I really look forward to seeing the astrologers viewpoints on this. Please do share your experiences, if any, of such charts that go in a different direction than it was supposed to. I appreciate your time. Thanks |
Hi Jhanvi,
Given a perfect birthtime(ideal situation), or a near to pefect birthtime ( +-5 minutes) the predections and analysis of a birthchart with the help of Vedic astrology should be correct.
This depends upon the expertee of the astrologer..... and also the communication skills of the astrologer. Communication skills are important as the skilled astrologer may not be able to explain properly what he/she sees.
Free will works within the ambit of the life destined, and therefore is cannot be extended too much. It can help to better lives, but not exactly change lives radically.
Faith in God increases by increasing your faith in oneself (which should not again be overconfidence).
Jyotish or Vedic astrology is the light of the stars(read light as divine knowledge) and it can surely assist to better lives my moulding ones attitude and by giving direction with the help of KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING, rather than change it radically/too much.

Dear RishiRahul Ji,
You are bang on!! this is what (that you wrote exactly) i am trying to understand myself and convinced...No doubt a Good astrologer with Exceptional Communication skills (Not just the vocabulary) can tell and guide the seekers. I found very few ppl Including you! in this my astro journey and you are on Top! in my most admired Jyotishis/Gurus...
If i add my two cents here and for Jhanvi- Our Chart is a MANUAL. Like any Manual that comes along with the Products such as Car, TV, Fridge etc..with features, specificatons, trouble shooting etc.
BUT the Question is How often and When we SEE this Great MANUAL?
We start looking into this Manual WHEN we face problems? worst in TV and Cars cases we don't even bother to see (with some exception very few % of ppl do follow these Manuals when they bring the stuff and i found them they are pro-active ppl)
Including me majority ppl don't even bother to look at it like the same way with the Charts..We start looking for the solutions possibly a Quickest one to our problems, may that would also be called as a Free will and to some extent Hope....At this point We need somebody as you RIGHTLY mentioned a Good, knowledgeable Astologer WITH proper communication skills to convey the seeker in an EFFECTIVE way as to what is written in our Chart...
Hope i am able to convey my views
Regards
ChanDubai
P.S: Goverdhan Ji, Nandini Ji, and Raman what you all ppl said is very nice that in my personal opinion all english and nothing but a philosophy and or some motivational class... Ofcouse Motivational things must be an Integral part of Astrology But sorry to say most of the ppl (Astrologers) becomes Philosophers when you ask them like, Why it didn't happened when you told me it will happen!! just my thoughts. Nothing against with you all ppl!!

Hey Chandubai,
Thank you wonderfully for the acceptance. Astrology is indeed like a manual, or could compared to one as you explained. Predictive astrology should be able to go to and try reveal the feelings of a person at different stages of their life; and this should the aim. Because this would help the astrologer to be able to make meaningful predictions.
Govardhantji's explaination was through mythology of the Hindu philosophy.
Ramanji is a voracious learner of Jyotish though I never knew that he saw so poetically inclined. Poetry can be compared to Jyotish as both reveal pathos. Nandiniji is quite learned in astrology and is probably an alterego of RohiniRanjani(dada).
It os only through brainstorming that we get better philosophies/explanations.

Hi ChanDubai,
It is not about astrologers becoming philosophical when their predictions fail. It is about nativities becoming philosophical before the predictions made to them by astrologers become true. Predictions like death, divorce, childlessness, etc. that can cause suffering. What is the use of being fore-warned, if the path to be fore-armed is also not indicated?
Nothing against you either!
Regards.
