CAVEAT: TREAD THIS AS A THEORETICAL POST READERS!

As Master Yoda may have put it, Swapnil ji, "Missing a fragment or even early half, from the sentence we are?"

To tell you the truth, I think a big chunk of our contemporary understanding is missing when we read in BPHS that sapta(7)amsa is to be examined for children and nav(9)amsa for the marriage partner. Leaving aside the brave and rebellious who are recommending that we extend the role of navamsha to ALL partners (I have read views like that, maybe not here), I find it curious that this offset by 2 amsas in the natural progression of houses must not be glossed over but scrutinized.

If panchamsha and shastamsha were to be introduced, the the sequence will look thus:
Rashi Varga  (1/1) - self, first house
Hora (1/2) Wealth, acquisitions
Dreshkana (1/3) Siblings
Turyamsha (1/4) Misfortunes and contentment
PANCHAMSHA (1/5) FIFTH HOUSE
SHASTAMSHA (1/6) SIXTH HOUSE
Saptamsha (1/7) SEVENTH HOUSE
ASHTAMSHA (1/8) EIGHTH HOUSE
dashamsha (1/10) Occupation, profession, karma, TENTH HOUSE
EKADASHAMSHA (1/11) labh, earnings, payments
dwadashamsha (1/12) Parents, our dues that we need to pay back

Has anyone researched/examined it and report for us, what they have?

El Torr
