Hello Rohiniji,

Your response is more than welcome, the more the merrier! When I wrote my response about spirituality, I didn't make that distinction in my mind. But, the more I think about it, I think I covered both ideals in my post. A spiritual person, in my mind, is someone who practices forms of spirituality. And, the spiritual self, or your higher sense of self would be someone who is spiritually inclined. For both instances I think I don't strongly match that description. I don't know if I clearly understood the distinction that you tried to make, but that is what I understood of it.

By the way, as per Proj's early post he recommended you as a good resource. I was hoping that if you had some time available that maybe you could take a look at the chart I posted earlier. The problem I have been having with it is that I am not able to read anything or get a reading from someone that is accurate. Thanks!

P.S. I am almost a 100% sure that the chart is made correctly, so I don't know what's going wrong.
Why "almost?" and not 100%?

Not only are religion and spirituality not necessary for learning jyotish, but often get in the way of the craft and the seeker. Don't believe me? Silently observe what gets posted and in which vein all over internet!

Yes i understand what you are saying here Rohiniranjan ji.

just the other day i was reading an article on a web site in which the writer has launched a vicious personal attack(i don't mean physical )on you for asking people to be logical and analytical when studying jyotish rather than to close their minds and think of it as sacred and beyond questioning and analysis.

Deep regards

Hi rohiniji,

I am almost 100% sure because I have had this chart made from many sources and they have all given the same result. Although, I can't say that I am completely 100% sure because if the chart is right shouldn't I be able to receive correct readings? So, I figure that the fact that I am not getting accurate readings may be because the chart is made incorrectly, even though that seems highly unlikely to me.

Another possibility is that readings I have attempted to do or others have done have been taken from different prospectives. What I mean by that is I read it from the ascendent, but I have known others who read it with moon's placement as being the lagna house. I am not sure how big of a difference that makes, but it has been something that I have been thinking about as of late. Either way, something just doesn't seem to be right. Any suggestions?
