the word "JYOTISH<DIVINITY" means

ONe who deals with astrology and gives predictions and promotes the human values and tries tio safe guard the true morals, ethics and devotes his entire lfe for the welfare of humanity thro the vedantas is said to be JYOthis, to my little knowledge, and the sastra which he takes as basics is known to me as JYOthish sastra

I wish to give the meaning of JYOthish in the words of sri Krishnan nair a
famous astrologer from south india (kerala)

Vedantic Philosophy, Astrology and Vedanta are inseparably connected. The basis of Astrology is time (Kaala). The reality is beyond time, space and causation. This can be experienced, but it can never be subject to time, space and causation. Astrology in it's depth is actually a science which is based on Vedanta, that is why it is called Vedanga Jyotish.One can realize the atman which is changelessness (truth), happiness( aananda) and existence (sat) through astrological science. Thus it can be a way to realisation.

the word comercialism  is oten seen as   promoting the sales  by any manufacutrer  or   producer of his goods and services through adveritisements, which may take place in various method s   as  window displays, offering free gifts etc, through which one finds marketability of his own goods and services,

Now a days we see astrologers who are meant to deal with that divine sastra , are commercialising their services selling their divine knowldege for acquring more means , through advertising on various medias like TV chanels,. journals magazines etc. This is the explanation of the word divine comercialalism...  i  think

we find many famous astrologers selling  their knowldege by tieing their names with many Jewellery shops and are making money thro sales of precious stones,  by saying if anybody wants to get rid of their graha doshas he  must buy the Navarahthnas in particular shop and they can get predictions or  free readings  for those who ever buys the stones. by doing this they are promoting divine comercialism , which in return degrades the original values of this sacred art of Jyotish itself, and creates the doubts in the minds of people whether to trust the art of Jyothish or not, it confuses the minds  of ppeople what to buy where to bye and genuneness of the jyothish sastra is diminising day by day ,
.The main reasons i can say are,  the overcrowed upcoming astrologers and their misuse, of this divine science  and i blame the buyers for their superstion which  is the ultimate reason for this adverse  comercialistic priciple s and the last but not the least

i request people to use their wisdom and to promote divinity , and i requests the vetrans of jyothish sastras to render their help in guiding the society in right path .

dear rrji, u have posted the above post divinity jyothis , and i replied according to my knowledge , i dont know i have defined them correctlly or not, but i find in our vedic astrology forum, no one is willing to share anything with others ,and  all are interseted in knowing   the  remedies to their personal problems only. it confuses me ,whether i should write my replies to other's posts or not?


Please guide me, am i going right or not? I wrote about KALsarpa YOGA, but found no answer, if it continues, i am sure i will also loose interest on writing.But at the same time i find many replies in general forums.

One more thing i want to know from you rrji.While taking RAMAN AYanamasa and LAHari AYANAMSA I find number of variations, like star and rasi differs, some times lagna gets changed, then how should we predict?
