Laharon ka munshi (I am sure you all must have read that story? Or may have seen Tom Hanks in Cast away! Imagine Tom getting marooned on that island with tonnes of gold and karmic promissory notes but no bank in sight to cash it

Hence the title!
We all take yogas and combinations of which jyotish seems to be so full of, as granted. When they fail, one goes to great lengths to find fault with what condition or minor bylaw did not get fully addressed and if found everything is fine and dandy in God's green earth (nothing to do with St. Patrick's day coming up soon!).
Marooned on island jyotish or not, if you had sat down with a chart or two and doggedly looked at those, as opposed to just studying charts that were read for you in short capsules by the author of the article or book that slid across your desk -- you will soon notice a disturbing trend!
Many ordinary people have wonderful yogas
that many wonderfully successful and well known individuals would kill for --
Would kill for if they were not already successful and accomplished!
It is easy to make an excuse and say that the celebrity chart was bogus or inaccurate but I am not talking about the Amitabhs and Tom Hanks of our reality or Mandelas or Gandhis or god forbid, even George Bush who has way more accomplishments than many of this forum rolled together (oops! I see a kind grandfatherly figure approaching me with a sad menacing look in his eye, shaking his kind head disapprovingly and what looks from a distance like a giant key in his hand!).
Before you burn my effigy, dear jyotish afficionados, break out a few charts and seriously question this YOGA thing in obvious cases as opposed to messing around with "What-if" scenarios which is what I have seen too frequently! I have talked to "Wilson" often about that issue which has really bothered me on this *island*!
