Yes it does, if done PROPERLY and SCIENTIFICALLY as opposed to using one size fits all kinda algorithms which are so common in jyotish, mangal dosha, astakoot etc. It gives a better sense whether the relationship will last the tests of time, usually more than a year, in fact if used properly, it can be very powerful and used for marriage counseling, in general. I have tried both westernized "dating" and also matched horoscopes, using jyotish and in my experience, the ones whose horoscopes did not match with mine, (again matched PROPERLY and SCIENTIFICALLY) lasted no more than a year. To cut it short, I would use jyotish as a shortcut rather than go through the entire process of courtship with someone I have no future with. Now I want to remind you that I am speaking in the context of "living happily ever after" but for someone, who enjoys the thrill of the chase and is never ready to settle down, I would not recommend kundli matching, rather dating is the way to go.

hope that helps.

If you need detailed case by case description of my research and experience, I am open to do so but only if you are serious and open, since it involves a hell lot of typing.

regards,

Actually, the applications of melapak extends beyond matrimony and can be utilized for other relationships, including business relationships, with some of the factors interpreted a bit differently from the 'marriage' context. I may write about it some day.

The earlier, the better, haven't seen much on melapak from your stable yet or maybe they are well hidden secrets yet to be revealed.

I don't have a stable, Proj! You know how much I hate manure (metaphorically speaking )

I cannot possibly write about everything unless I find a wealthy benefactor who will allow me to just do that and write about jyotish
