In the recently locked post-Can I become a astrologer, there were discussion on role of Rahu. I have one point to make. Whenever there is a role played by Rahu, certainly  there will be influence of Ketu because of 7th house aspect . I am of the view, Rahu and Ketu influence should always be taken together instead of secluding the one and talking of the other and their influence cannot be talked individually. If Rahu looks downward, Ketu looks upward. The association of Rahu with those planets mentioned  should not discussed only taking Rahu into consideration, even the influence by Ketu on such combination should also to be taken . The role played Rahu Ketu is much more complex than anyother 7 planets in Vedic astrology.

May I request the MOD to shift this to Vedic astrology forum, if they feel that would be appropriate forum to discuss on the topic

I am sorry if you all find that I overreacted in closing the other thread (Can I become an Astrologer)

There was nothing in the thread in itself that was the cause of action.

The only reason was when RR's opponent denied  to give "proof" on what was found wrong in data programs,  when he first claims that so was found, and his opponent could not see it.

When we discuss and gives a claim, then we must be prepared to give proof of our claim...we can't just say figure it out yourself.

By putting up the way he found the error, for all to see, all could accept his claim, or easy pointed out where his error was.

By asking his opponent to do the calculation, no error would be found, because he had done it 100's or 1000 times already and had not spotted it.

Since suspicion about the error was given, readers of the thread, with not good enough knowledge in the area ,would believe that this was the truth, so either way would RR and other Astrologer who use programs, be hurt from it.

I therefore found that it would not lead to any good discussions, for all to see, to let it go on.

Sorry to bring this into this topic, since I should have given this statement last night,  but since the thread was mention in the opening statement I took the liberty

MOD has got all liberty to act in the interest of the forum. It will never be mistaken and there is nothing to feel sorry about

Truly Rahu and Ketu shuld not be seen independently .... and in relation to this, i wuld  like to share an artilce from a blog (whose name i have unfortunately lost) ... and  i m not sure if  i can  simply paste it here ??. a humble request to MOD may i paste such an artilce in this thread ??
