For those who have dabbled in the computer language BASIC in its many forms and formats, the command REM (Remark?) would remind them of a non-executing 'commands'! It used to be a note to self for the programmer or others!

In AppleBASIC, I believe the single quote served the purpose of a REM statement!

I have bored you all endlessly with accounts of why or how I was drawn to astrology and divination. But I have never really seen properly and cogently articulated accounts of YOUR STORY!

Dare to Share? Care to Share??

I see and sense a lot of mistrust and animosity on the general jyotish scene, something that was missing from the new age experience a few decades ago <sigh!>

And I think it is because we are holding cards too close to our collective chests!

Dear Dada,

Ok, I have very few things to hide, especially in internet. One of the reason for that is -  (my idea only) If I share 99%, people would not look out for the 1% that I intend to keep secret !

I had a fascination for palmistry. My father was a good hobbyist. When I was 13-14 yrs old,  my father had a look on my elder sisters palm and declared she would have a "Samudra Darshan" in 14 days time.   As we were in dire shape financially at that time, nobody believed that.  It was not possible we thought. However, my elder sister had her "Samudra Darshan" within 14 days time when she had to go to the organisation HQ in Kerala.

This led to a growing interest in palmistry. I could not learn anything from my father as he was bed ridden and expired within 2 yrs. But that interest led to off-on interest  in palmistry.

I was going thru' a very bad phase around 36/38 yrs .... it was very tough on all fronts.  At that time (no jobs.. free time.. internet).. again led to palmistry. After participating in palmistry forums for almost 2 yrs... I got in to astrology at the instance of my colleague. He taught me few basic things. Later I saw, many astrologers are half learned and prescribing costly remedies.   Then I decided that I should learn few basics so that I can not be taken for a free ride.   And then it became a love affair.

But my distinct style continues .. off-on... no study of any classics or books... depending on my memories... interacting in forums.  etc... And a hope someday I will be able to help.. may be..

This is my story..

Regards

Actually I am a person with a poor observation & I couldnt believe on my instincts. So I learnt Palmistry in quest for some supporting knowledge which could help me make my decisions. Further Palmistry helped me gain popularity among people, specially among girls.

After I was considered a good enough palmist, I am now delving into the depths of astrology. Now it is just as a hobby and  a research for knowledge.
