Yes but often people respond to earlier posts without quoting and it gets a bit confusing. Why create more. Quoting takes just a key-click, it is not as if we have to type the entire thing or even do a cut and paste. Internet has plenty of bandwidth and we are not streaming here
Just sometimes streams of conciousness take place!!

You are right, next time I write something in response to some post I will make sure I quote the post first.
