Many of great realized masters and Jnani  who abide in the true self have gone beyond all the karmas and their fruits, irrespective of wether it is good fruit or bad fruit, a jivanmukta never enjoys the fruit...

In effect ,a jivanmukta goes beyond kundlii ,and transcends all planetary positions and all the effect there of ,kundlii is only active when karma is active, when past is active, when memory is active.

A realized master lives in the complete present,it is not the minute,it is not the second,it is not nanosecond,it is just the moment in which jivanmukta lives.
Although some of the prarabdha  of jivanmukta is like an arrow already shot from a bow which must run its course until its momentum is lost.
Jnanis react to them differently according to their own stages of realisation.

Quote:

Tripura rahasyam says -:
The three kinds of karma,
(1) mature (prarabdha),
(2)pending (agami), and
(3) in store (sanchita) are common
to all — not excluding the Jnani. The first of these alone
remains for the Jnani and the other two are burnt away.
30. Karma matures by the agency of time; such is
divine law. When mature, it is bound to yield its fruits.
31. The karma of the one who is active after Selfrealisation,
is rendered ineffective by his wisdom.
Karma already mature and now yielding results is
called prarabdha: it is like an arrow already shot from a bow
which must run its course until its momentum is lost.

On the other hand, the Jnani of the highest order involuntarily
and naturally abides in samadhi, and any lapse is
impossible for him under any circumstances.
The Jnani of the middle order or of the highest order
has no tinge of karma left in him, because he is in perfection
and does not perceive anything apart from the Self.
How can there be anything of karma left when the wild
fire of jnana is raging, consuming all in its way?

Why and how is it beyond the kundali? From what I hear here and elsewhere, man is but a goat tied by the rope of karma to the Khuntaa, the pillar in the midst of the courtyard of perception! And we have been told recently that the rope is made out of stuff that the goat cannot chew and cut free from!

Perhaps karma must not be treated as a fixed recipe that has been handed down for generations like the Soup Nazi's soup recipes on Seinfeld, for those of you who know of that comedy show!

Just as Elaine got lucky and found the recipes in the dresser, Nazi Karma can be overcome in two ways:

Get lucky and find the recipes or better still find another provider of the soup that you have become used to and cannot live without!

OR, just give up wanting soup! After all, there are probably more human beings who do not rely on soup for their nourishment but have other alternatives!

Definitely Rohiniranjanji ,a goat cannot cut free of it , only a courageous one who has courage to surrender his ego,who has courage to accept things as as they are,who has courage to think from his heart can cut free from the rope of karma.

Only a courageous one owns all the recipes , so no recipe is different from him , he owns all the recipe ,but no recipe can say that he is mine.

Elaine has never been courageous [within the context of Seinfeld that we are talking about!] or a goat for that matter [Now, George is another story and Kramer!]

Leaving all that pop TV aside, what do you understand about ego and do you have one?

Why should we try to understand the ego?
For understanding ego or for understanding anything we will have to use mind which has been part of our ego for ages ,for understanding the ego also we need to use our  ego ...
Mind has been imprinting records from ages ,by understanding or analysing the ego will only heap already loaded manomay ,instead of being relieved  it will be further programmed with various definition of ego .
Analysing ego is definitely not a solution .
Anything which we  understand or try to understand will only strengthen the ego  which is definitely not my aim , so my understanding or not understanding is pointless in nature

Amanush
