Hi Asro,
I have seen that whenever Lagna lord is posited in a house, the matters pertaining to the house the lagna lord is posited in becomes troublesome, particularly when retrograde, or aspected by Mars or natural malefics.

FWIW, I have seen that too but only if lagnesha is afflicted but even when AK is benefic and strong etc, the house it associates with have some challenges or difficulties and something that needs to be overcome by effort (in other words more free-will exists in those area, less destiny!)
Unless one rolls over and gives up! Then it is TAO City!
Hello Dada,
Lagna lord's position can create troubles thru some ego factor, specially when the lord is a malefic or afflicted.Even when it is not the matter is not very sound and smooth. Some trouble or challenge exits. If it is a benefic, then the free will is able to act positively.

Hi to all !!
from your replies wht seems clear is , the location of LL shows the area of life where there are to be challenges (esp whn afflicted). me limiting (for eg sake) to my chart , as Jup is conj with sat (retro), cleary shows affliction. If this is to indicate some challenge, it shall be with 7th matters and more in phy sense as LL is point of stress and with Sat retro shows , sufferring to native as result of some dridha karma (plzz correct me if wrong).... does this also show /indicate/mean some shraap due to guru ?? So will the challenges be more to "Dhi" in terms of 7th haus matters??
Also this jup aspects the Ak Mars so is Ak also affected by this ??? Also nother point is the the Moon conj with Ra and receiving aspect frm Mars (AK) and Sun does this cause the Matri shraap??
Hope my logic is not taken a complete toss frm its path ..... correct me if otherwise
warmly

Ashutosh,
Sadly, it was! If not completely, to a large extent -- as per what I wrote on this specific topic
But maybe you were not referring to me in the "all"!
Best wishes,
