This partially biographical article not only has great advice for jyotish students but some very insightful observations, which one cannot but agree with more.

My sense of gratitude encouraged me to find out more about the person who, very magnanimously, devotes his time in responding to our discussions and without whose contribution, this discussion board would have been a lot poorer. I would like to take this opportunity and encourage everyone to thank someone who, instead of MAKING MILLIONS by doing jyotish readings, spends his time answering discussions and encouraging jyotish students to learn the subject in the right way with the right attitude.

I only wish that more of us emulate him, only then will jyotish be truly served.
