Rohiniranjanji,
I agree that databases are available commercially but looking for a particular yoga in 86 birth charts is simply amazing. I am not panicked

but amazed by your research oriented approach to astrology.
Basab,
I take absolutely no credit on the searching ability. I use the software described at
www.astrodatabank.com and since I do not have any financial affiliations or benefits from that I am posting the URL not as an advertisement. This product is a MS Access based protected database which allows individuals to add their chart collections as well as create stand alone databases (like my astro one).
Collecting data is very important for all astrologers whether they wish to do research or not. It gives one the essential "reality-check" which many individuals (even pros) tend to gloss over or at times I suspect that they actively avoid doing so! This leads to claims and quickie combinations that float around in the ocean of jyotish and which were probably generated from chance observations a few times which seemed to fit the astro-logic. These are dangerous because they tend to stick in one's mind convincingly and then when they show up in a chart tend to get 'weighted' higher but erroneously.
I do not reality-check things stated here (and elsewhere) to be a PITA (not the bread!) or my saturn or rahu or whatever trying to keep things straight and narrow, BUT to press the point (even if on one person if that is how it turns out to be the case!) that there can be a lot of MAYA in what we think is pure and sagacious thinking. As Raman used to repeatedly remind, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating..."
[[Just to 'complete' the information, please do not get the impression that astrodatabank is a perfect product. it probably is for the western astrologer because of the nature of their rules used. The vedic version is pretty good but has certain things such as charas, shadbala based combinations that are not factored in and hence not searchable. I harrangue them to add those when I can. These things get added when a large consumer base asks for them. With parashara's light for instance, I had been asking them to open a customized user-defined search utility in addition to their minimal and nearly useless set of search options for now many years but why would they add something which few are interested in? Two software packages, KALA and SRIJYOTISH from their descriptions seem to have some fairly advanced (but by no means perfect or comprehensive) YOGA pattern identification functions. Oh well! V cn oly wet & ope!]]
