Hey,

According to everything I have read in this thread, my life should be full of obstacles! Well, I disagree!
I am a Capricorn ascendant, and my Badhak sthana is Scorpio. Now, I have 4 planets in Scorpio: Venus, Jupiter, Sun and Mercury, so they are occupying the 11th. The 11th lord is in 12th (both Mangal and Ketu, whichever lord of Scorpio people choose), and is aspecting Moon in 3rd house, so again a badhak aspect. Finally, my lagna is Dhanista, i.e. in the nakshatra of Mangal, the badhak and Shani is in Chitra, angain a Nakshatra of Mangal. So according to what I have read in this thread, all my planets are connected to Mangal, the Lord of the 11th house and Badhak, so accordingly my life should be full of obstacles in all Dasas!

I think it's just hilarious!!!

Well, during my Mangal AD, I lost my grand mother, and had a car accident (but that could be because it's place in the first house in D30) but was unharmed. On a positive point, my family also bought a new business for me and my brother to run, so that was a gain!

Anyways, would really like your inputs!

3.If lord of 12 th house aspects 11th house or posited in 11th house/lord of 11th house is posited in 12th house/lord of 11th is neecha or combust then there will be loss of money, heavy unexpected expenditure are indicated during the period of lord of 11/planet posited in it/aspecting it.

Regrding the badhaka lord for chara lagna, being adverse, somehow I beg to differ... my experience that is.

When badhak lord is aspected by a malefic, it could/will be adverse. Yes and true. But why?.....Probably not due to the its badhak quality, but due its aspect by a malefic. Why blame badhak here?

For a planet in the 11th. house it will give Badhaka effects for chara lagna's. Yes.

Again what is badhaka? Obstruction should be the answer. A badhaka lord obstructs less. A planet in a badhak house obstructs more. So the difference is marinal and more,respectively.

How much it obstructs should depend upon the strength of the badhaka. Whether the results are achieved at all or not can be guaged by the relevant amsas in consideration and the nakshatras and subs it is placed in.

Regarding your point number 3 you are very correct in theory and logic.
But can one deny that it could also give the best of money too sometimes? Of course it come with high expenditures or followed by high expenditures.Wonder how we guage that?

What I would like to add......is..That if we see Badhaka; or 11th. house as Badhaka,with the exclusion of other systems and ways, we come to grief in terms of predictions sometimes.

Yes, certainly RohiniRanjanji did say that the badhak factor was over rated.. and, no doubt, it is like manglik dosha, kaalsharpa yoga.... but it exists.

The 11 house is also the house of gains and or 'upachaya'.

In your case the 11th. scorpio has 4 many planets. It cannot make ones life very easy/smooth as it is the 8th. from Al, which can harm his own image in ther others eyes; though none are involved in grahayudhha and only a fast planet is combust.

Planets in the nakshatra of the 11th lord is gainful as per K.P.
Otherwise planets in dhanishta can be quite flexible + your saiggitarius.
Too many planets in Mars nakshatra resists changes; but will have a few big changes in life.

Whatever people said about badhak was about the theory of badhak in isolation. I havent gone yet to the previous pages; and it not about a typical chart.

4 planets not involved in grahayudhha, in a house can show a very strong spirituality coming... and somehow involves sexuality in this case. Mind you the 4 planets are happy ones naturally (let us call Sun kroora here)..... and we come to a special combnation.

Such people do very well in life or go down.
Which is why I use palm prints along with birthcharts for REAL opinions.

I do agree that the badhak factor is a bit overrated, IMO the Badhak lord is more harmful than the planets placed in badhak sthana, but that is just my personal opinion.

Sometimes we get mixed up between the problems attracted by badhakshana. Particularly when the 11th. becomes the badhak shtana.

We will find people saying that 11th. is gains by hurting others.. how can it obstruct ..etc. etc.

Badhak literally means literally means to Obstruct meaning oppressing, harassing, paining, opposing , hindering, injuring, prejudicing from the root verb 'baadh' meaning to press , force, drive away, repel , remove.

I, personally tend to believe that the obstruction directly/indirectly affects health factors.
